Rate this book
Jillian Carter’s life is about to change drastically. Her daughter, Shana, is beating her to the altar after falling in love with her soul mate. It’s an experience Jillian knows nothing about. After mistaking love for lust one summer, Jillian found herself as an unwed teenage mother. Now at thirty-nine, Jillian isn’t looking forward to becoming an empty-nester and the boredom that it brings. She’s not buying the old adage, “she’s not losing a daughter, but gaining a son.” Suddenly, things become very interesting when two unexpected men vye for her Shana’s biological father breezes back into their lives as a redeemed man after twenty-three years of parental neglect. Not only is Alex Nixon still good looking, but he’s ready to right the wrong he’s done. But not so fast. With the Lord’s help, Jillian finds she’s able to forgive Alex though she struggles to forget all the special moments he missed in their daughter’s life. To complicate matters, the widowed father of the groom, Dr. Dexter Harris, has set his sights on Jillian and he’s willing to pull out all the stops to woo her. Jillian must choose who will be her soul mate and give her the happily ever after she never thought possible. A Mother’s Love is a Christian romantic novella that proves it’s never too late for love.

Wait on God

I enjoyed this novel by Pat, she always knows how to write a clean romance novel that also provokes you to think about your Walk with Christ, which is amazing.

A day a mother has always dreamed about for her only child is meant to bring so much joy and excitement!
But for Jay, There are a few things trying to take her joy and peace of mind. One being the fact that her daughters biological father pops up in the picture after being estranged from herself and their daughter since conception. But suddenly he is back on the scene, repenting, saved and showing interest in her. To add more problems she now finds herself seriously attracted to her daughters soon to be father in law (who is not saved) and the feelings are not just one sided

Both men are now fighting for her heart but which one will win?

I enjoyed this book as it shows waiting on God is the best thing ever. Waiting on him to smooth things out and lead you the right way is very important for a believers happiness and peace.
God knows how to work things out and bring Glory to his name.
Another thing is ladies and gents stand your ground!!! If he or she ain’t saved do not go there! Wait on God and he will perfect all things.
A book full of forgiveness and love you are bound to take some life lessons away.
Enjoy the read
