Out in the mean, gritty streets of New York, you will meet Kamil “Kash” Washington who is use to getting what he wants and having any bitch he wants but things soon change when he meets his match.
Nae knows from experiences what it’s like to be in the streets. A guy in the streets doesn’t excite her; all she’s looking for is true love. Someone who’s gonna hold her at night and treat her right. She’s a woman in the streets and a straight freak in the sheets, who is more than willing to ride for her man when her services are needed.
Jacques Spencer is Kash right hand man and best friend who’s tired of the money hungry bitches that’s after only his money. He feels all bitches are one in the same and feels that there isn’t a woman out there who will ever be into him for him. He’s tired of the bullshit but doesn’t give up on searching for love.
Cherry is looking for a man who can give her all the things money can’t buy, love, affection, and attention. She had everything else. Those are the only pieces of the puzzle she’s missing. Gangsta Luv by Jazmyne was a very good book. I enjoyed the development of the characters and I loved the story line. I wish the author would have taken more time on the editing portion of the book because it made it really difficult for the book to flow how it should have. I really thought that there was just too many sex scenes that really made me skip over those pages, because there are only so many ways that you can explain someone running up into them guts lol!!! Another thing that annoyed me about Cherry and Nae was they were petty and over emotional, like are they supposed to be street chicks or are they really not about that life? I mean if you really down for your man you not going to keep threatening to leave him and then come back and then leave again and all that crying ish, needs to be out that door. Truly though, I am #TeamKash and #TeamJacques although I didn't agree with how long it took them to kill off Ox, G, and One....LOL! <3
Overall, the book was very good, the story line was great and it had an happy ending!

I like drama in my reads and this book was full of it! Some of it was a little over the top other than that it was a good read.

I love hood novels & this was definitely hood. Hood love stories are the best. But this book was too fake! Got on my nerves on certain parts & took me entirely too long to finish. Nar & Cherry got on my damn nerves with all that leaving bs. Damn bitches sit y'all asses down & ride for your men! And Kash letting Nae hit on him is not reality! She would have been slapped a long time ago. This was definitely fiction @ it's finest. I loved the fellas though. Kash & Jacques definitely had swag! The ending did not do it for me. So was Kash cheating on Nae?? WTF if he was? She shoulda pulled the plug on that ass then! I love happy endings & glad everybody was together but this ending sucked for me. Wouldn't recommend this as a great read. It was just OK.

I LOVED HOW KASH & QUES & THEIR BOYS HOOKED UP WITH NAE & CHERRY & THEIR GIRLS OVERALL I ENJOYED THE BOOK WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE WAS HOW CHERRY STAYED 4 MONTHS 4EVER & NAE THOUGHT BEING CHOCKED OUT WAS KOOL BUT BEING SLAP WAS CROSSING THE LINE OR HOW THEY WROTE ALL OVER MARIA IT SEEM TO MUCH ... I WOULD TELL OTHERS TO CHECK THIS BOOK OUT...

I like the characters ques&kash & sometimes cherry & nae somethings they did made me want to scream. . overall it was an okay book & it could of easily been a five star the author has a good writing style but i just wish it was put together a little more. . you all should still read to see for yourselves.

When I saw this book I really thought it was going to be ratchet. Book once I got into it I realize it just a love story with real life problem.
