The Soul-Linked Saga #6

The Vulpirans' Honor

Rate this book
The Vulpiran brothers, three breathtakingly sexy near identical triplets who shape-shift into creatures much like giant foxes, have been waiting century after century for their Arima, their destined soul mate who will unite their divided souls, tremendously enhance their magic, give them children, and whom they will love and cherish for eternity. And, finally, they have found her, in the person of Honor, known as “Honey,” Davis, a beautiful human obstetrician with a psychic gift for communicating with and healing the unborn. There’s just one teensy little problem—Honey is married to the brilliant Terien scientist, Michael Davis, invited by the Vulpirans to their world to help unravel the mysteries of the enigmatic Xanti, evil spider-like beings from a nearby galaxy bent on the conquest and enslavement of every race in our own. And, Michael and Honey have a five year old child, the adorable and precocious Nica, who wins everyone’s hearts and who has psychic gifts of her own. While Michael races to unlock the puzzle of the Xanti, on which the fate of our own galaxy hinges, Honey and the Vulpirans struggle with the intractable situation in which they find themselves, all the while fighting the powerful emotional connection, not to mention the irresistible sexual magnetism, drawing them together. Their dilemma sends all four on a perilous emotional odyssey, through dangers of the heart and soul as well as dangers posed by Xanti machinations and sabotage and a deadly threat the rises from the ashes of Michael’s secret past to threaten their future together and the innocent life of little Nica. These destined lovers will use all of their magical and psychic gifts, all their wits, all their resolve, and all their courage as they struggle to overcome these challenges, but will they be enough? Will Honor become the Vulpirans' Honor?

Stayed up all night to read this wonderful story. Just love the world Laura Jo has created what a fascinating place. So nice that each story is connected to the next one and that we get to stay in touch with previous characters that we loved. Looking forward to many more books in this series.

Great book

I wasn't sure if I would like this book initially - Honey being married to someone else at the beginning was worrisome to me and I didn't know if I would care for a plot like that. Happily the book was a great read and Ms Phillips handled the situation well and made the story quite enjoyable. Wonderful!

#6 in the soul-linked saga series. I've enjoyed every book in the series so far and this is no exception:) Laura Jo Phillips has created a great sci fi universe. This series has a little of everything, magic, advanced technology, evil aliens, good aliens, misguided bad guys, space ships, prophecy, destiny, romance, steamy sex scenes and a great story. Each book is about a different mate-set. You still get to meet and interact with others from previous books. This is a romance in a scifi setting so the emphasis is on the relationship but there is plenty of world/universe building too. MFMM (menage with no MM) If you like scifi menage with steamy scenes thrown in this series is for you.

The conflict that kinds these lovers together is real. The heroine is married to someone else.

This book spends a lot of time on the overall arc of the series plot which is well done. The characters are well developed and if you having been reading the series we get nice time with former characters.

Once Honor's marital issues are resolved, the romance is sweet and healing.

Reading the books of The Soul-Linked Saga, I had already thought of what would happen if a Arima was found and she was married, but this story was better in the book than in my head.
I loved the book and loved the characters, especially the sweet Nica. Please Laura Jo Phillips write a book about Nica. :)

I was so happy that there was another twist in the Jasani's search for their Arima. It's more refreshing than having a female who's unattached and available so readily. So the fact that this potential Arima was married and has a child made it that much more exciting!

Honey, Nicaragua and Michael's story.

This is another must read tale from Laura Jo.
Wow, she knows how to spin a great tale.
Heartache, true love and explosions, plus a miracle or two.

Actually - the holiday hours at work plus personal issues have resulted in my not reading this book yet. I'll get to it soon.

I just love this series. This was great! Although, I really did not like that she was married at the time they met.
