One of my favorite things about this series is how many hilarious references it makes to other anime, and we got a Naruto reference in this one! Super fun.

I actually enjoyed this installment more than the first. I think the story developed more, and the craziness just went one step further. I like crazy. It suits me. I really like the main character, Koro-Sensi, and even though so many want to assassinate him, he is still totally devoted to his students. Now, that's admirable!
My only complaint, is that there is a somewhat stereotypical character thrown into this volume, that seems to use their sexuality as a weapon. Is the best storyline one can

The craziness continues as we get a new female teacher in the school, who happens to be hot AND an international assassin. She doesn't even want to teach, she just wants to kill Koro Sensei, but they want her to teach her, and she decides to stay there, since this is part of the goofy premise of the story, that they want to both be assassins AND learn!

There's a class trip, which Koro Sensei admirably prepares them for. The students have to assassinate him, of course, so he doesn't destroy the pl

I really enjoyed the first volume so it's a shame the second volume is this bad. The charm and humour from the first volume is gone, and instead replaced with sexism, stereotypical characters, and lack of any actual plot. Utter mess.

"Target and teacher. Assassin and student. Everybody in this strange classroom... Is successfully juggling two roles at the same time."

The students of class E, the Assassination Classroom, are about to take their mid-terms.
Koro-Sensei, the octopus-alien-squishy-thing who shot a hole in the moon and is threatening to do the same to the earth if these low-scoring junior high students can't kill him by the time they graduate to high school, is working double-time to make sure his kids can pass. Eve

3.5* solid manga story. We get a sexy new teacher also an assassin who attempts to kill koro sensei. Builds on the relationships between students and teachers. Slowly building. I might check out the anime to see if it engages me more.

Still an interesting series but this felt like filler and never developed the series like it should. Small annoyance but easily forgiven when this story shows more interesting plot points. Long series so hopefully it develops as opposed to biding its time.

I like this series, it is weird and a bit odd but I find it entertaining and engaging. book 2 ended with a bit of a cliffhanger and I was happy to be able to go on reading right away as I got the first 3 books from the library.

This volume wasn't quite as interesting as the first because I normally read them in one sitting.I felt like it was just a book in the middle of all the action that is going to happen in Volume 3. Nothing really happened until Class 16. The artwork was still very amazing and it's like nothing I could ever do myself.

A decent volume but not as good as the first. I didn't like the new character that was introduced she was a stereotypical seductive girl that is in some Manga. the stereotype just ticks me off but it was still a decent volume

A pretty fun manga. This one was a tad light on plot, but I do love how Koro-Sensi is so devoted to his students, and they to him. There were not so many assassination attempts here, this was more just a school manga. The art is pretty good, nice and polished, without too many action lines and such to distract. Also, Naruto!

This series is such a fun, light read. I can never go a few pages without laughing or making all sorts of facial expressions. The dialogue and the characters are just that funny. Can't wait to read volume 3

I'm not sure what to make of the character of Hellavich in these books. Is she a parody of lady spies who use their sexuality as a weapon, or is it just using that trope with a comedic tweak? I'm honestly conflicted on the matter.

Otherwise, another solid volume, and I find it amusing that in a tale of world destroying aliens and espionage, the most ruthless villain in a junior high school principal. Which is fair.

This is me nit-picking a bit because i think this series so far has been excellent, but I thought the whole Irina master assassin hired to kill Koro Sensei thing was carried out weakly. If she’s supposed to be the best in the business, then she’d be more clever, and her first plan wouldve worked, because those mistakes she made were just foolish. Not master assassin-level mistakes. Her character description, and her actual character just dont add up. Matsui seems to think that women who wear rev ...more

Lose a star from me for the new stereotypical “sexy” woman character introduced here as a new teacher. The students didn’t like her and neither do I. Seems like the plot didn’t move forward much in this, so I hope volume three helps build my confidence in the series because I really like the premise, but still don’t feel too connected to any of the students. Loved the naruto reference though, that was great!

This was as fun as the first one and I hope to read the next volumes soon! I love the sensei, he can be a monster but he really cares for his student, and he is sooooo cute! I really do not like the school principal, but he is the villain of the story (and yes, the villain is the principal, not the monster who wants to destroy the Earth, go figure!) so that's ok.

I love the way this story is told. Koro sensei is getting more and more unusual as time goes by in this series. I am enjoying my read of it and I can't wait to continue!

Finally I have the 2nd volume. The book should have come out like a month ago, but for some reason Europe gets it a month later. :\

I am also watching the anime, so I can say that I was a little bit bored through this volume. Most of the stuff happening, also happened in the anime. Sure, the anime was more detailed and longer. On the one hand, it makes me happy that anime is following the manga this closely. On the other hand.... it is also a shame.

Also, I didn't really like the translation that

Have you ever wanted to kill your teacher? The Genre of my book assassination classroom is action. I give this 5 stars because it is funny and each page makes you want to know whats going to happen next.

This book takes place in a campus where there is a whole school and then the delinquents go to class E far away from the actual school all the way on top of a mountain. Their goal is to kill their teacher. In the book the principle wants to keep Class E underprivileged so the upper students try

Well this series hasn't run out of steam yet. New teachers, a school trip, exams. I'm still loving the goofy tone. And I'm wondering how this is all going to end. I doubt that Koro Sensei is going to destroy the Earth, but I also don't think he's likely to change his mind about doing so, though I suppose it's a possibility. Matsui is going to need to start foreshadowing that soon in order for it to work without seeming like a cop out. But on the other tentacle, I really like Koro Sensei, and don ...more
