With an appealing blurb, I was sure this book would be a shoo-in for an enjoyable read. It was not. By the last third of the book, I skimmed in a rush to get it over with.

I didn’t mind the cheesiness because it caged the angst. I didn’t even mind — much — the ridiculous melodrama that rolled in halfway through the story and flooded it through the ending. What I did mind — strongly — was the preachiness, which became the straw that broke the camel’s back. While I couldn’t agree more about what th

Reading this book, sometime I had the feeling the author would have liked to write a full historical novel, but she opted for a fantasy to allow her characters to “live”. This is because, aside for a paranormal element, as big as it’s, the presence of dragons, the rest of the novel is pretty much a classical medieval novel, with intrigues and adventures, to a level that, if not for the sex, I had almost the impression this was a young adult novel. Much to this point was the young age of the two ...more

fantasy-romance novel mix with a touch of fairy tale (feeling)

Quite enjoyable, comfort read

Pet peeves:
Could have lived without the MCs' use of "suck", "suck off" and "fuck" in their language (thankfully each one occured just once) and without the use of "beady eyes" in the description of some "not so nice guys".

Stuff that didn't (quite) worked for me:
A newly hatched dragonling that communicates by nodding and shaking their head: That felt a bit weird but was

Ignoring the cover, that was really awful, and I hope no one was paid to make that horror, bcs is clear that it was done without love, the book was good. The author writes well and the MCs were damn cute. How can u hate 2 cute childhood friends that become lovers and are each other firsts and only? U can't.
Sometimes though, the book was too sweet, and it seemed as if the bad guys, were only the ones who didn't agree with a gay relationship. I would have liked to have some other kind of ang

I've been sitting on this one for a while, needing to get some other reviews done before I could read it, but when I finally got to it and started it, I fell into it right away. I was a little unsure of the direction at first, but once it really started moving, I could feel the momentum and I started to really enjoy reading it. It swept me right through the book and I never felt a lull. That doesn't mean it's perfect, I had several things that bothered me som

Destiny has chosen Lord Tomas Roland and his lover, Sir Griffin Dalison, to restore the kingdom’s balance back to the harmony the humans and magical creatures once shared. However, this can only be accomplished by the destruction of the evil source that wrecked havoc over Galerir.

The Prince of Galerir has an intriguing plot illustrating greed, in addition to hatred for gay men. It was a common assumption that gay men were weak and therefore not fit to rule a kingdom. Because of this, secrets wer

For most books I don't write reviews because I don't know what I like or don't like of a book except a general feeling. The general feeling for this book was very good the rest not so.
I will not bother with rehashing others complaints, but just tell my own.
To start with the description. It gives the feeling that you are goning to read an epic tale in which the prince struggles for the acceptance of his people for his love and for the throne. They are not there the storyline is so smooth I would

lovely epic story, can't wait for next book. I know the MCs are young but there are too many reassurance going on for my liking,( always with you, together we go or for you i can do anything) subtract some I LOVE YOUs and tone down some the heart breaking stories and am good, but in all i enjoy this read.

Hmmm...Don't want to rain on everyone’s parade but...Flat, plain, predictable, telling not showing and thus boring is all I can say about it.
P.S. The cover is awful.
