I'm giving this one a 4 star. The Killer Angels and Andersonville novels were more interesting than The Red Badge of Courage.

The Killer Angels is about the Battle of Gettysburg and the soldiers that fought it. Yes it is based on the battle, but this is a work of fiction.

Andersonville is about the confederate prison that was in Georgia. It jumps from ex soldiers that live nearby the place to the actual Union soldier prisoners in the prison. This is based partly on true characters and what would've happened during that time, but this is a work of fiction as well.

The Red Badge of Courage is about a young man that is eager to join up with the Union Army but when he does he has second thoughts about doing this when he witnesses a battle first hand. This is a work of fiction but a good story on what a soldier would have experienced in a field of battle.

Great for people who love reading historical fiction novels.
