Not a bad knitting book. While admittedly there aren't a ton of patterns in it that I would wear or make and I don't love everything in it, there are a few that I think I'll be saving for later (some nice fingerless gloves and a belt, to be specific). I like that it isn't just to-be-expected knits, there is a selection of different techniques that aren't usually in these sorts of pattern books - beading, felting, cable knits. Also, although I am no longer a beginner at knitting, the instruction was still useful to me and made sense - sometimes the "how-to" stitch instructions and diagrams can be confusing, but I think these were well explained and presented.
