Arnold's first published works appeared as a result of a project he was working on at the University of North London, when he was trying to teach young children. A positive review was written about him, and he started to write the "Horrible Science" books. His books are illustrated by Tony De Saulles.

کتاب کیوتی بود ^-^
و البته برام یادآور چندین سال قبل بود، مواقعی که منِ 8-9 ساله با کلی شوق میرفت کتابخونه و مستقیم سراغ خوندن کتاب های مجموعه علوم ترسناک🧪
خیلی خوب بود، فقط حیف که خوندن این جلدش برای من خیلی دیر بود، یعنی از اونجایی که تمام آزمایش ها و مطالبش رو قبلا خونده بودم، دیگه برام هیجان انگیز و جذاب نبود...
