This book has an awesome story but horrible grammatical errors. I made it 80% through the book and had to stop after the "big secret" was revealed because it wasn't that big and i started to het bored with it. i did love the actual story itself but it could use some serious improvement in grammar such as words spelled incorrectly or used in the wrong context, run-on sentences and commas placed in the middle of a sentence that shouldn't have been there.

While I enjoyed the plot line and was completely drawn into the story from the very beginning, I kept catching myself up on the writing. It was such a mess with grammatical errors, missed punctuation and even words that did not belong.
On top of Alanna meeting this extremely gorgeous man with no doubt some seriously f*ed up issues, I found a great page turner. This being said, this book may be more difficult for others to read due to the writing alone.
I am however disappointed that the ending was

What an absolute load of crap, this was one of the worst written books i have 'ever' read & i have read tons in this Genre. No feeling, passion or realism at at all in the book, the grammar, spelling, repeatable phrases & history info on the main male character etc were appalling.

I purchased book 2 when i bought this, but could only manage to torture myself with only 1 chapter of it................What utter rubbish!

The story may NOT have been so bad had the grammatical errors and horrible punctuation been fixed before it was released.. I can't deal.

I've never given a book 0 stars. I'm not sure it's even possible. But here I am - doing it.

And I'm not sure it's fair. I have no idea if the characters are well-developed or if the plot is brilliant. I don't know if there was romance, suspense, or action. I got about 3 pages in. Perhaps a new record in reading failure for me. But after having to read multiple sentences over and over again to make them make sense, I gave up.

Turns out there are these things called "commas." Anyone who claims to

This is a very good story, but very badly written. It's as if it was written in a rush and she didn't double read to make sure it made sense. But I love her twists and turns, you just didn't expect that any of this would happen. I think she needs to rewrite the books and republish, so it give more people a chance to enjoy the book. Happy reading.

I enjoyed this story I totally Love Adrian Black he is so sweet sending Alanna all those gifts I'd love for a guy to do that for me. His childhood was so sad how can parents be that cruel and messed up to hurt their child like that. I hate that kids have to go through things like he did I'm glad he was able to find Michael's family. I can't believe that Adrain's past has caused Alanna life to be in danger but they love each other and will do anything to be together. Michael falling in love with ...more

Wow! I barely made it through this book. Thank goodness it was free. Did the author mistakenly publish her rough, rough draft? It could have been an enjoyable book to read if:

1. The author got a peer review, preferrably another author,to help with format, dialogue and to help streamline the plotline.

2. Get a professional editor.

While I can appreciate that somone can write a story and have the gumption to put it out there, please be kind to the people who will be reading it and make sure it's pr

This was a great concept for a story but I felt let down & could not even finish the first book even though I purchased the other two books. I liked the thought of the story but there was just something lacking in the way it was written & I am not an author so I have no idea how else to have written this story. Flipping around the way it did I just lost interest & maybe it was the narration I was reading. To the Author I hope that you will keep writing & maybe even rethink how to ...more

Although for the bad editing.I was drawn in to the book..It kept me wanting to know how it was going to be with the brother she is falling for..:).. I really enjoyed it and brought the 2nd one as soon as I was done.

This book was good, but not worth 4 stars. The writing left alot to be desired, the story was good, but left you wanting more. It read like a teenager wrote it in many parts. There was only heavy kissing and had no "steam facotor" at all.

I liked the plot of this book. BUT, I had such a hard time reading it! Between the misspelled words, run-on setences and the writing style I just couldn't compel myself to read it until the end.

The story was good, but the actual editing (or lack of editing) was quite distracting. If an English teacher were to read this book- the pages would be covered in red ink.
