This was sweet. I liked that there was actually some tension other than 'should I fuck this guy?' Some of it was of course, 'which one?' and other sort of shallow things, but it's still more depth than some stories in Boys of Summer. It was sexy and it was cute, and it never tried to force love into happening or give too unrealistic of an outcome (it is still romance, so it will always be a bit, won't it?).

It was a good read and both convention and romantic scenes were well done and engaging.

Hah, so now I know what goes on at scifi conventions - photos, autograph signing and a heap of hot sex! No wonder so many people attend them... damn, have I been missing out!Fan Girl and the Geek was a sweet story with a pinch of spice - I really enjoyed it. Well done, Ms. Brookes.

Insta-love and cardboard cut-out characters spoilt what sounded like a fun premise. Not bad as a short, spicy read, but I wanted a bit more.
