A fun little read. This definitely felt like it was written more for kids, but it never went as far as having a "After School Special" vibe to it. Just the Fantastic Four having fantastic adventures and being a fantastic family. If you're on an FF kick like I am (and also on a break from "serious" story lines), this will definitely fit the bill.

The first volume of Fantastic Four Marvel Adventures features a few adventures of the "Marvel's First Family", but skips the origin story.
The stories are self contained, and even though there is no origin story, these stories are aimed at new and young readers, and they are a pretty good and quick introduction to Fantastic Four.
The art is pretty good, especially the action scenes.
Overall, a good read for younger readers that are new to Fantastic Four.

is this even the right volume? because mine has that same cover, but the subtitle "doctor doom".

hmmm

well regardless everyone should.know this shit is for kids. I mean I bought it at target after all. totally not to be taken serious at all. it still gets three stars because I'm a sucker for the science fiction nature if the Fantastic Four.
