I read this cover to cover, and expect I will refer back to it as needed. An interesting section on the history of cats, an informative overview of cat breeds, (many of which I was unfamiliar with) lots of useful facts about cat care, grooming, first aid etc. The chapter about showing was less relevant to me as it is not something I intend to do, but it was worth reading.

As ever with books like this, the photos are the highlight - almost all the breeds mentioned are pictured, and all images are clear and helpful.

in this book i learned things i don't already know about cats, like did you know cats have 13 ribs! i would recomend this book to people who like cats and want to learn more like the breeds.
