This sequel to 'Tame' is just as amazing as the first book. The characters are very realistic (especially for a werewolf book), the storyline is gripping and adds a deepening mystery to this world, and the deep love between the main characters adds a level of romance that left me very happy. The concept of this book is based entirely on actual legends (go and Google some of them, you will be amazed), and yet A.J. manages to add just a bit of extra magic, a personal touch that makes the whole sto ...more

A little better than book 1. I have come to terms, I am hard on wolf shifter books , and this shifter series is not for me. Maybe its just timing, I don't know ...as my thoughts come together all I know is at this time and date this book is just plain weird.

Have to say this book was more exciting than the first there was more twist and turns in the story line and you are never ready when something happened you did not expect. Highly recommend the book

Savage is even better than Tame, the first book in this series, if that is even possible. The paranormal world building continues and the characters are even more fully developed.
Cavan is a detective and as such he deals with facts. If you will recall, in the first book Cavan found Ludo in a sickening condition of near fatal abuse. When Ludo tells Cavan, “I’m tame,” that leads Cavan on a fact finding mission to discover what Ludo’s true nature is.
Ludo is a werewolf and he tells Cavan a tale of h

Loved this sequal to Tame. A very thoughtful much more developed story than the original but I loved that one too. This story still sits with me. The kinky sex scene was the clincher. Woof!

Cavan & Ludo are now in a relationship, but not all is going well. Ludo starts having more and more problems during the moon cycle. Cavan suddenly has a brother who was also kidnapped and tortured by the same organisation behind the kidnapping and selling of Ludo. Then there are stone wolf statues. And Ludo is suddenly 100 years old. I thought the story was all over the place. And the sex not as hot as in the first book. So this second one does add some elements that are a continuation of th ...more

A.J. Llewellyn lives in California, but dreams of living in Hawaii. Frequent trips to all the islands, bags of Kona coffee in the fridge and a healthy collection of Hawaiian records keep this writer refueled.

A.J’s passion for the islands led to writing a play about the last ruling monarch of Hawaii, Queen Lili’uokalani as well as a non-erotic novel about the overthrow of her kingdom written in dia
