Ebony Nights #1

Advertising for Love

In the kitchen, in a tux—and out of it—he’s got the skills to crank up the heat.

Ebony Nights, Book 1

When Aisha Anderson hires a professional escort for her company’s gala, it’s not because she can’t get a date. Her fast-track career at Hansen Advertising doesn’t give her the time—and it’s the only way to avoid dancing with her creepy, inappropriate co-worker.

To her delight, Greg Williams plays the role of charming, attentive gentleman so well, she could almost believe the sparks between them are real. When he takes her home and demonstrates—with considerable sexual skill—that the heat is not her imagination, she can’t say no to his request for her number in lieu of payment.

Their hot night continues into a warm breakfast at Greg’s favorite back-street diner, where Aisha feels something she hasn’t felt for a long time. Part of a couple.

Later, though, when she runs into a former client of his who seems eager to compare notes on his erotic bag of tricks, the sizzle begins to cool in shadows of doubt. Long-term could be a stretch for a man who’s dated half the women in Chicago.

Especially when there’s the possibility that demand for his services could take him away right when she needs him most…

Product Warnings
This book contains a sexy black man with mad culinary skills, an ad exec with a hunger for something well-cut and lean, and an escort service that knows how to satisfy every woman’s appetites.

Advertising for Love is a sexy ride that follows two successful adults. A caramel skined workaholic and a ten year experienced escort. Are the seductive sparks that fly between the two part of the Ebony Nights escort contract, or could they be real?

Aisha Anderson, is described by her best friend as being a workaholic, commitment-phobic, perfectionist, and in dire need of a date for the company’s upcoming black tie gala. With no prospect of a date, her best friend Tanya Roberts passes along a business card for an escort service. Aisha refuses to partake in this type service. But with so much riding on her to make sure she gets this promotion over her co-worker and rivalry Phil, she has to make an impression at the company’s event. So what’s a girl to do….pick up the phone and place her order for the perfect hot date.

Ebony Night’s contract entitles you to the company and conversation of one gentleman for the agreed upon time. Ebony Nights does not condone or encourage anything that goes beyond the boundaries of the contract. Well, once Aisha sets her eyes on Greg William’s perfect smile all her nervous fear about the ordeal of using an escort service vanishes.

The black tie event was a success! Does the evening end or does Aisha willingly take things beyond the boundaries of the contract? Greg introduces Aisha to his ‘two orgasm minimum rule’ and Aisha learns that not only can Greg cook in the bedroom, he is also a chef in the kitchen.

There are no lies or surprises; Aisha is well aware of Greg’s occupation. The question is can Aisha handle Greg’s profession?

I enjoyed this seductive novel and thought the author did a great job on the hot and steamy love scenes. Not only were the scenes hot but to have a handsome man able to please you in the bedroom and then have skills in the kitchen as well. Greg’s bedroom agenda consisted of anal play, oral pleasures and much more. Yes, this makes for a smoking hot read.

I like the fact that both individuals were successful. This brought more to the novel each having their own lives outside of the bedroom. The story flowed nicely and the added little twist in Aisha’s career helped make the story seem not so perfect.

If you are looking for some heat to warm you up I recommend Advertising for Love.

Advertising for Love is a very fun, very sexy romance with a great hook: throwing gender stereotypes on their ear, we have a high powered female executive hiring a male escort.

Roseland's voice is unique and very fun. Her characters are sexy and engaging, their dialogue and their relationships with each other feel real. I felt myself cringing at the company party because god help me, I have so been there--fending off unwanted advances from a creepy co-worker while trying to change the subject on the nosy co-worker who shares too much and tries to get you to do the same. I found myself chuckling and nodding along with Aisha as she ordered another glass of pinot grigio.

Greg was sexy, sexy, sexy. Did I mention sexy? I loved him--his very believable attitudes towards his improbable job, his ambitions to become a chef, his playful-yet-bossy bedroom style, SEXY.

All in all, a very fun book and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

One note: Don't read this on an empty stomach. The food in the book is as hot as the sex, and you WILL get hungry. :)

Someone famously said in a movie that “Life is like a box of chocolates…” and when Aisha hires an escort from Ebony Nights Escort Service to accompany her to a black tie gala put on by her company, she gets a fine piece of chocolate. Greg is poised, sexy, self-assured—and he can cook. Who could ask for a more perfect escort?
Aisha is a strong and beautiful woman, waiting on a promotion at her advertising company. She’s outperformed her competitor, the smarmy and lecherous Phil, but no word has come down from the execs as to who will join their ranks.
Meanwhile, Aisha boldly decides to sample Greg’s services. Whew! Is it hot in here? The couple has amazing chemistry and Ms. Roseland has command over what makes a gal scream for more in the bedroom. The scenes are graphic without being boring or repetitive—and so sensuous and loving at the same time. Well done!
Ms. Roseland’s command of language—especially dialogue and description—make this book a joy to read. No bumps in the road—it flows like hot syrup on an ice cream sundae.
This is a must read for anyone who enjoys a good story with hot sex and a sizzling romance.
Would *you* date an escort? Read the book to see how Aisha handles this most unusual situation. Oh, and bring me some fish and grits…

Advertising for Love is a girl hires escort, girl and escort date, girl runs into escort’s client and things get awkward kind of book. Yes I have books with this premise before but I like how Ms. Roseland has written Aisha and Greg’s story. Aisha is a woman in charge looking for a date to her company’s gala and in need of a date to keep a creepy co-worker away from her. Greg is the perfect man. He’s sexy, tall, dark and handsome with certain “skills” of an escort. Greg is one of the sexiest characters I have read about and I would like one of him for myself, he has a ‘two orgasm minimum’ rule that makes for smoking hot reading.

There were no lies or misunderstandings. Advertising for Love is really all about Aisha finding out if she can handle Greg’s profession when she wants to be the special woman in his life.

I found myself smiling throughout the book; really enjoying the couple. The story is a little fast paced but I completely fell in love with Aisha and Greg.

Finding Love in an Unusual Way

Aisha is a single, career driven woman with a great marketing career. She is climbing the corporate ladder but lonely at night with nothing or no one to come home to. With an upcoming company event and not wanting to go by herself, she uses an escort service and is pleasantly surprised when she gets to her event and is greeted by a handsome, intelligent, man named Greg.

Greg has been in the escort business for some years and he is known to give a woman whatever she desires. In the case with Aisha he finds that she is something more and he wants her to be his woman.

Elisabeth Roseland’s “Advertising for Love” is full of some steamy erotic scenes that can leave you breathless. It is a good, erotic, quick read that is not boring and leaves you wanting more. I think it’s a great read with a great storyline.

Enjoyed the descriptions of Chicago and fabulous food. The sex scenes often read more like a play-by-play book, I didn't find them v sexy.
