読了。著者は今まさに飛ぶ鳥を落とす勢い、クラウドのLeading CompanyセールスフォースドットコムCEO、マーク・ベニオフ。社会貢献活動について同社は株式・利益・就業時間のそれぞれ1%を社会貢献に使う「1-1-1モデル」を導入しており、会社の成長と地域社会への貢献のベクトルを共有するよう設計されている。本書は同様の活動で業績と社会貢献を両立させ、むしろ成長の活力としているリーダ達の物語。特に心に残ったのは第15章、「持続可能な資本主義の鍵となるのは、利益を最大化することではなく、妥当な利益を得ることである。」株主至上主義から顧客・地域社会・従業員・その他全てのステークホルダがHappyになるための企業の在り方を問う。自社の貢献活動に胸を張れる従業員は離職率も低く、より高い意識を持って会社へ尽くす。情報技術の発展で買い手側に市場選択権がある今日、生き残るのはそんな企業なのかもしれないね。

A few good examples of philanthropy by large corporations and wealthy business people. Not much in the way of general guidance for companies unless you have millions of dollars to spend bettering the world.
