As a Guardian, Briet has a unique superpower to help in her quest to find her mate in order to reproduce and help replenish and heal human souls. Briet's superpower is her ability to see to the molecular level without the need for any machines. She uses this power by participating in medical trials searching to cure cancer in children. In her latest trial she works closely with Jason, the company's representative. When she starts questioning her findings, will she be able to trust Jason to help ...more

My Rating: 4.25/5 stars!

I have such a soft spot for paranormal books that involve the topic of soul mates. It was actually Christine Feehan’s Carpathian series that started my love for paranormal romance. Her Carpathian series is very big about lifemates and finding one’s other half. The Guardians of Eden series reminds me of the Carpathians but only in the soul mate aspect of the stories. KH LeMoyne’s Guardians are very different from the Carpathians. I might have even enjoyed the Guardians and

This was a great modern fantasy love story. I liked the concept introduced with the Guardian race and enjoyed the pacing of the relationship development between Briet and Jason. I thought the world building in this story continued to grow and strengthen.
I received this book from the author through The Nexus group here on Goodreads for an honest review, thank you.

We meet Briet and her brother, Ansgar and learn they are guardians. Then Briet goes to her job as a doctor in testing new drugs on children with cancer, and we are inundated with medical terminology. I forgot I was reading a paranormal romance, and felt like I was trying to understand a medical drama on TV. This was really distracting for me throughout the book. Maybe because it just didn’t interest me? I just felt like we could learn about the trials and her work without all the super-technical ...more

Although LeMoyne picks up the storyline from the first novel in this series, she weaves it into a completely new tale that you cannot put down. LeMoyne continues with the same unique writing style that suits her storytelling so well. Her descriptions remain phenomenal and you cannot help but picture each and every scene that she lays before you. You end up walking through the world that she creates rather than reading about it.

I enjoy the fact that the bulk of the characters in this novel are r

Briet and Jason

With the Shifters Unlimited and Guardians of Eden series, KH LeMoyne has become one of my new favorite authors. She writes standalone books I don't want to put down filled with strong, likable characters, an engaging overarching storyline, and HEAs for the featured characters who then have supporting roles in successive books. She provides adequate foundations to the plot to make it realistic, even when it's fantasy. For me, the only drawback to her writing style is that plot ques

When I first read this blurb, I thought this was just up my alley though I hadn't realized this was the second book in this series until after I signed up for this tour. I became worried will I understand the back story for the guardians and though I was a bit confused at times , I found this book an enjoyable read.

First of all I love the unigue names of the characters. I always wonder how and where a author comes up with their characters names. Though her male lead character has a ordinary name

Warrior Reborn (The Guardians of Eden #2)

I received this book for free, in exchange for a review.

Now, the story moves onto Briet, one of the female members, of the Guardian race. While all of the other women were in cryo, Briet was on the outside, trying to learn and make a difference. The arena that she works in is the medical field and she is highly regarded, though not a permanent member, at any particular place. When the opportunity comes along, to be in a testing group, for a new drug comes

In “Warrior Reborn” Book 2 of the Guardians of Eden, we meet Briet again. She has successfully hidden her abilities from humans for two hundred years, and now quietly uses her gifts of cellular-level vision to help patients. She specializes in curing children of cancer. But she’s in a quandary, she’s a doctor managing children in a trial of a new drug. But something’s wrong, something she can see that even the most sophisticated microscope can’t find. The drug is changing the children’s DNA, and ...more

I read this book on the heels of the first one, immediately downloading it before I even turned my Kindle Fire off at the close of the last book. I got sucked into the first novel, and immediately found myself wanting more. I was not disappointed with the second in the series.

Once again the author did a great job of bringing in the paranormal aspects to make them almost seem real. While there was not a lot of paranormal to the first half of the book, I felt the author did a great job of building

I received Warrior Reborn from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Warrior Reborn is the second book in the Guardians of Eden series and....I'm done. I found the first book a little hard to read and while this one was a little easier I didn't like anywhere as much. In fact for most of it I was more than a little bored. The medical jargon...oi!

We met Briet in the previous book and she is a doctor working with children who have cancer doing a drug test. Jason is the company man on

My thoughts:
I was thrilled with this second book in the Guardians of Eden series.
The author has once again given us those wonderful characters.
This is Briet and Jason's story. Briet divides her time between the Guardian's Sanctum and the human world. She is a doctor and is dedicated to saving children. Jason works for the company bringing the study to Briet's hospital. They make an incredible team.

KH LeMoyne has created a world filled with characters that are so bigger than life that you find

Book 2 of The Guardians of Eden are a race of beings that were created along side humans after they were cast out of Eden. They were created not to be more powerful than humans but to live in the covenant of God to help "release and heal souls unto mankind". These beings are empowered with specific skills to guide humans. As thanks, God has gifted each of them with one mate to share in the covenant for all eternity.

This book is about Briet, healer Guardian who is a doctor overseeing the testing

I am really enjoying this series so far and can't wait to read #3. Love the characters and the story line.

Briet is a female Guardian of Eden. She was out in the human world trying to make a difference while the other female guardians were in a cryo sleep. She has been hiding her abilities and working in the medical field. A cancer trial for children comes up and she wants in. She meets Jason Ballard. He is her mate. Jason works for the company holding the drug trial.

I was eager to read what happens next to the characters afer the first book. I have wondered about whom story will tell this time. I had few guesses but I hadn't guess it right. I was pleasantly surprised about it. Now I wonder why I haven't thought about this one character.

This book was different than the first one. At first it was more like a romantic story but it got more and more intense with each chapter and eventually I was sitting on the edge of my seat. It was a wonderful sequel for a wo

This is the second book of the Guardians of Eden Series. I want more of the series, but I'm out of luck because I started with book three. I loved it. Warrior Reborn is a story with action, science, superheroes and loads of romance- four of my favorite things in a book.

I think Ms. LeMoyne’s writing is fabulous. As in my other reviews I have to mention how dynamic she is with her ability to set a scene in the mind's eye.

Spunky Briet and methodical Jason made a wonderful power couple. Both of the

The second in the Guardians of Eden Series, Warrior Reborn continues the story of the Guardians journey to follow their covenant. Briet, a Guardian uses her powers of healing to help the human race. As part of a team charged with a trial of an experimental drug, she uses her powers to protect her patients.
Jason is the administrator on site for the project. While he’s a black and white kind of guy, he soon finds that Briet adds all the color in life that he needs, but doesn’t want.

Warrior Reborn
The Guardians of Eden #2

After reading book one of the series, I couldn’t wait to start reading this book and I was far from disappointed, if anything I fell in love with the series more. Incredibly well written, the reader is allowed to get to know the characters, and see how the relationship develops rather than jump straight into love at first sight. Both Briet and Jason are strong characters, used to being independent but soon learn working together gets better re

Recommends it for: praanormal romance lovers
Warrior Reborn drew me in with its driven and compassionate female protagonist. Briet carries both the story and the weight of her world like a champion, and though at times she feels awkward and strange in a world far too human for her, she steps up to the cause and sets the world right.

The plot is mysterious and magical with a passionate and exciting romantic edge. LeMoyne's cast of characters are solid and believable despite their otherworldly origins, and I found myself wanting to know more

this book tells of Briet, a 200odd yr old doctor who can see what the problem is with her patients...i mean REALLY SEE!! and Jason, the project manager for a drug trial at the hospital Briet works.

something isnt quite right with the trials, and and the discovery of this puts Briet and Jason in danger.

Second in the series is a good follow-on. Another good tale! Following the female Guardian, Briet, delivered on the distaff side of the brotherhood, but each of the books seems to deliver the most perspective from the ‘new mate’, in this case Jason Ballard. We get to see these other beings through his eyes as he learns and adapts. Again the romance is well paced with the main mystery in the story, though all is not wrapped up with the Guardian problems in the end of this book #2. I went on to re ...more

I thoughly enjoyed reading the second book in the series, much more than the first. The first book didn't start to get interesting for me until about 40% through, and I was lucky to finish it. This one had me hooked from the start. I think having all the background information about the Guardians from the first book added to the enjoyment of this one. I enjoyed Briet and Jason and watching their relationship evolve and seeing how they developed their skills together. As with the first book there ...more

WOW.....I'm loving it!

Briet is determine to save the kids in trail testing program.
She is sure after a little girl dies that something is wrong.

Jason Ballard only wants a date and to do his job, until someone tries to kill Briet, then he's out for blood.

This story is filled with compassion, love and action I am adding it to my Fav list.

This is a keeper......

I love the world building in this series, though you don't have to have read book one to enjoy this. The great romance is the book's focus but it's set in a great world with a strong plot. Can't wait for the other Guardians' books!
