Erin's trip, going five days through the Florida keys, certainly doesn't compare with stories of around the world solo sailing. The author does provide a view into the life of a Type 1, and shows while it has it's challenges, she certainly can live life fully and pursue her goals. The book made me miss living in California.

Islands and Insulin

I really enjoyed reading this book. It taught me a lot about type 1 diabetes and how hard it is to handle all the insulin, carbs, highs, and lows.
