You're my sweetheart ~ Ho Hey by The Lumineers
If there’s anyone in the world who deserves a happy ending, it’s two broken people who taught each other to love.
First off, a HUGE and MASSIVE thank you to Rachael for giving me the opportunity to beta read this. I loved Preservation and I couldn’t wait to continue Kate and Ryan’ ...more
No, Reservation is not companion novel to the first book - that little annoying habit authors have: to tell the story from his POV. It the end you have basically same book with few extra scenes, but nothing new. Second book in Preservation series is exactly that - sequel.
We continue to follow lives of Ryan and Kate, but this time narrator is Ryan. And he is good narrator - I even loved him more in this role than Kate. Rachael Wade managed to pull you into the male pe ...more
Yes. This book was a test in patience and self-control. I was either biting my nails or pulling my hair! It felt like I knew the end of the world was coming and no one would listen to me.
But, aside from all that stress that had turned my tresses white...I really, really liked this!! It was fast-paced and always kept you guessing. Just when I thought a situation would explode, it didn't and vice versa.
It was in Ryan's POV and I LOV ...more
As for the heroine, if she is so freaking dumb to forgive and trust this lying douchbag because he's good in bed than she deserves him.
Also appalling was her cowardly refusal to testify against ...more
Great read..definitely recommended
I fell in love with Ryan Campbell the first time he opened his mouth in Preservation. After losing his fiancee and publishing deal in the same day, he became the epitome of an arrogant playboy ...more
reading in the Hero's POV!!! To be inside a guy's mind? Really!
What woman wouldn't want that opportunity?
With RESERVATION, we get just that! But this is not just great for the guys POV...
We get a continuation of the lives of Kate and Ryan! *sigh*

This is book #2 of 3 of the Preservation Series. Reservation has an HEA and it can be read as a stand-alone. Although, it is a direct continuation of Preservati ...more
Let me tell you, this book was incredible! It was just as good as the first book. Usually, I find that in reading sequels, they some how can't manage to live up to how much I loved the first book. But this time, I can happily tell you, that wasn't the ca ...more
I love how strong and independent woman #Kate is... how she struggle with her circumstances and fight the demon on her past is very inspiring... that despite all she have been through she never give up on hope and love.
And Ryan... the delectable Ryan... my heart felt for him... my heart bleeds when he was heart broken and after all what he have been through... he deserve to be happy.
This story left me with warm, happiness and inspiration. Love is really worth fighting for.

Reservation by Rachael Wade is book two in the Preservation series. This is the sequel to Kate and Ryan's love story. It's always difficult to review a sequel without giving too much away. I hope that you will pick up Preservation and give it a go. In Preservation, we're introduced to Kate, a college student with an angst ridden childhood. Her adult life isn't that great either. She's surrounded herself with male friends, Carter and Dean. She had no time for romance, when it took everythi...more
This book had my heart constantly aching during its roller coaster journey. Rachael Wade seems to keep improving as the series goes on. I enjoyed this book even more than the first instalment in the series. The author once again kept the pace of this book fast, leaving the reader desperate to finish. The second novel in this series contrasted perfectly with the first novel as it was in ...more

I was so excited that this book was told from Ryan's POV. Even though I got to know him in Preservation, getting to see his relationship with Kate from his side of things was fantastic. It allowed me, as a reader, to see his more sensitive side and being privy to his most inner thoughts and feelings really gave me the chance to understand this poor ...more

Just like in Preservation (Book 1), my feelings about Reservation are conflicted.Parts of this book were seriously painful. Not in a "this is bad" way, or an "I'm not enjoying this" way. But in an "for the love of everything, please just talk to each other" way. Obviously, I have a lot of feelings, even if I'm not quite sure what they are.

Oh Ryan, there were times in this book I wanted to smack sense into you and times I wanted to hug you silly. Things aren't smooth sailing after how book one ended with the proposal. There are still many issues to address, things need to be done, careers on the start. Life can get hectic fast, these two learn firsthand that your past plays a role in the present.

Rachael Wade never fails to keep her readers captivated by her story lines. I love the detail she gives in each and everyone of her books, its as if the story is playing out in front of you, so vividly.
I cried a lot through this Reservation, there was a lot of heart ache, it was so nice to see Ryan's POV. You don't get a man's POV in stories very often but it was just EPIC!! I really felt for most of the characters in the story especially, Ryan, Carter and Kate. I wanted to reach thr ...more
