Interesting book on how the brain works. The author does it well by bringing in examples from his everyday life as well of real patients that neuro scientists had experimented with. The examples help to relate the concepts better.
It can be a bit daunting, especially for those who have never learnt scientific terms relating to the brain before. But as with other books, I just skipped those parts I had difficulty understanding :P. However, I do believe that this is as simple as an author can go in explaining the brain to laymen like me.
What appealed to me about this book is it explains cognitive science theories by bringing in results from real life experiments on the brain, which makes it easier to accept than to accept blindly theories propounded based merely on the surveys done on people.
By the way, women's brains do work differently from men's. It's been proven :p.
