Most women wouldn't mind waking up to find six feet of perfectly-defined male muscle cooking for them. Then again, Anaya Bancroft isn't most women. She's the innkeeper and co-owner of Emerald Valley Bed & Breakfast and it's only pure desperation -- and a complete lack of ability in the kitchen -- that have her turning to her ex for help with the B&B's biggest event ...more

2013 Re-read: Wow, I think I loved this book even more on the re-read. Naya and Devlin are perfect together. So sweet, sexy and well-matched. I really like how they both fight for what they want above all else. (And the wax/ice scene still gets me. Damn)

Original read:
Love, love, love this book! Riley Shane is one of my absolute favorite authors and just keeps giving me great books to read.

This was a fun, incredibly romantic, sexy read with light bondage/bdsm play. And it's a holiday story (Hanu

Eight nights, eight chances. This was a wonderful, engaging, sweet love story. Do not be put off by the "Bondage" in the title; while Dev and Naya explore their sexual boundaries, they do it in a loving, non-threatening, sweet way. I was captured from the beginning: both Devlin and Naya are easy to like, uncomplicated. Their families are the same. What appealed immensely to me the more I read was the role their faith (Judaism) played in the story: this is the first book I've read in which the tr ...more

Despite the title what this boils down to is a holiday romance with erotic elements. Very light bondage.
Devlin left Emerald Valley and Naya to pursue his dream of becoming a famous chef. Mission accomplished but has it made him happy? Naya stayed and opened a B&B with her best friend who just happens to be Devlin's sister in-law. Devlin offers to help out when Naya is short handed in the kitchen but when things start to heat up Naya wants to protect her heart. Devlin asks for a chance to se

I loved, loved, loved this book! Once I started, I couldn't put it down. My only complaint is that it ended too soon. Can't wait to see what Ms. Shane publishes next.

Bed, Breakfast & Bondage was just the right amount of funny and sexy.Erotica is definitely not a genre of book that I read most often, but it's also not a genre that I shy away from. If it's done right,it can make one hot, sexy book. BB&B was definitely done right. It was clear to me from the start that both Devlin & Anaya were still in love. Anaya could try to deny it to her best friend all she wanted, but Leah and I both knew how she really felt about Devlin.

The sex scenes were done t

Riley Shane is a superb writer, both in her storytelling and the mechanics of the writing itself.

This Emerald Valley story brings two former lovers--Anaya and Devlin--together during the eight days of the Jewish holiday Hanukkah. Even though Devlin once broke Anaya's heart, Anaya is willing to allow Devlin back into her life because, as a practical matter, Devlin is an accomplished chef, and Anaya is a klutz in the kitchen of the bed and breakfast she co-owns with Devlin's sister-in-law, who is

Naya thought her life was complete until her ex-boyfriend came back to town to celebrate the holidays. There was a proposition that Devin and Naya agreed upon. In the end they both finally admitted that they still loved each other.
I loved the book. I was a little disappointed with it. The reason was because I was lead to believe that the book was more of an erotic book. It was actually more of a romance book.

I just couldn't get into this book and gave up at around 68%. I was just so bored with the characters and the storyline, which is too bad, because it’s not a bad book. In this case, it’s me. It's so obvious what’s going to happen in the end anyway, so I just couldn’t bring myself to care. I couldn't connect with the characters either, and in the end I just gave up.

This was a cool concept, and I quite enjoyed both the hero and the heroine in this book. Overall, it was a quick, enjoyable read.
