Silver Mortal is without a doubt one of the coolest books you will read this year!! It has such an amazing story line & super cool

I received this this book as an ARC for review. The release date for Silver Mortal is September 21st, 2012.
I am so glad I didn't have to wait to get my hands on it.

Alot of YA books out there with sixteen years old characters just don't sound sixteen. I really feel like it's a teenager telling the story. Even at only 4% into the book I felt like I was much farther in which is amazing. I felt like I knew Gracen already. From the very beginning you know she's going to be a very strong character.

Hea y'all Anne here with my review of Silver Mortal by Jenna Kay. Wow what an intense and original read!! Jenna has taken the time honored tale of good versus evil and thrown her unique and new idea into it. The story is fast paced, from page one you're thrown into the world of Gracen Potts, Touched human in an Untouched world!! From the very beginning the action is hardcore and in your face as Gracen takes the readers on a journey they will not forget! Born of the light and destinted to defend ...more

I read a lot of books and sometimes it can feel like you're reading the same concepts and storylines that you've read before. So when I come across something that is new and fresh and original, I cant help but get excited!! Let me tell you, Silver Mortal is like nothing I've ever read before.

Gracen Potts is a touched human. A Silver Mortal. By day she attempts to be a normal 16 year old, going to school and dealing with the normal things that most teenage girls deal with. But things aren't easy!

Stunning and Epic! What a ride! Gracen is a Silver Mortal, a supernatural teen who, after midnight, becomes super powerful, rare being. Her eyes turn silver and silver claw marks appear on her skin. She’d love more than anything to be normal, but her life as a demon and scum of the supernatural world hunter and killer has her riding out into the night to take care of business. Gracen is a strong-willed teen but wants to do the right thing. She hunts with her mother, another silver mortal with th ...more

My review 5 out of 5 stars
Wow, this book took me to a whole new world of paranormal! I am speechless from the ending! I can’t wait for the next book! At first I was in love with the book because it gave you an awesome sense of paranormal beings being disgusting, I loved that outlook, I am excited to say this was more amazing then I ever thought it could be. I just can’t describe my emotions at this moment there was a huge cliffhanger but not the one where you are angry but the one where you are

My review of Silver Mortal by Jenna Kay

Rating 5*****

This book was provided free from the author in exchange for honest literary review.

Gracen Potts lived a completely normal life until puberty struck. Once she hit the start of her womanhood she was shipped from the home she shared with her loving grandma to the big apple to live with a mom she hardly knows. Gracen is a silver mortal, sent by the eagle to protect us mere humans from thinlgs that go bump in the night. She and her mom ( who is als

Silver Mortal is about a girl named Gracen who has abnormally white hair and skin most people judge her because of this and call her a freak. Other than this her life was pretty normal, until the day she went out and saw her first werewolf, or a demon really. The demons take the form of human monsters (i.e. vampires, weres, trolls etc.) After seeing the demon She und

This has to be one of the best YA demon hunter books I’ve read in a long time. The storyline alone is one of a kind and I love how they change and their powers are stronger at midnight because well demons are out at night! Sliver Mortal is fast paced, full of action and surprises that will leave you looking for book 2! This book is a must read if you love YA paranormal!

I read this book literally in a day.I loved it and now I can't wait for the next book in series to come out. It's really easy to read.Simple and interesting story will leave you grasping for more.

Gracen is not a average teenager girl. Because of her white hair and pale skin she is considered a freak at her school. She has only one friend-Bets.In the daylight she is boring weird girl but at night she is a warrior. At midnight her eyes turn silver and silver claw marks appear on her cheek.Gracen is a

This is a wonderful young adult paranormal romance about a 16 year old named Gracen. Being a Silver Mortal, she has special powers that allow her to see the supernatural and kick some demon butt. Her kind is made to protect the regular mortals from these demons. Gracen didn't know she had special powers until she was 13, and she does an awesome job despite the fact that she only had 3 years to train.

Gracen meets a group of Night Vipers – her mortal enemy. They claim to have escaped their clan,

10*s. I recieved an eARC copy of this book directly from the author in return for an honest review.
This is an awesome fast paced book of action, surprises, edge of your seat suspence, and the humor in it makes me think that these are really sixteen year olds, because I could picture in my mind that that is actually what a teenager would say or do!! I am extremely fond of Gracen, because she is an awesome character and one kick butt heroine. I love to read books where the girl is the main butt ki

I loved Silver Mortal from the beginning. The writing style was compelling, and allowed you to get lost in the story. There were twists that I didn't see coming and enough suspense to cause me to keep turning the pages. I needed to see what was going to happen to Gracen next. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!!
This had an interesting premise but holy crap the writing bugged me!! How are the ratings so high?? I couldn't make it a chapter! It was horrible!

I received this book to give an honest review.

Let me ask this first! When will the next book be out. :D I want to know what happens next!

Silver Eagle is fast-paced, full of action, surprises and humor.

The action involved with kicking demon butt was great! The surprises well you just have to read to find those out! And the humor oh my!!!! I found myself laughing especially at Gracen's best friend Bets.

Gracen is considered a “freak” among her typical peers. She has abnormally light skin and silver hair. Although not readily accepted by her classmates, she does maintain a close friendship with Bets, a typical teenage girl who is a bit too promiscuous for Gracen’s liking. Gracen’s feelings for her best friend are relatable, as is her love for Phoenix, a Night Viper that escaped his dark existence.

Gracen’s relationship with Pheonix is unexpected. Not only is he a Night Viper, he brings several o

This series is about Gracen Potts, a sixteen year old demon slayer with an "I don't care" attitude. She hunts demons alongside her mother and their Informant, Jude. They come from a long line of Silver Mortals, a group of "Touched" humans that have been gifted superhuman powers to destroy what Hell brings to earth. There's also another group of Touched humans called Night Vipers. They work closely with darkness and want nothing more than to let Hell run rampant on earth. When Gracen meets Phoeni ...more

Silver Mortal is a great paranormal thriller/suspense. I especially loved the story. Well written. The characters are great and well thought out. This book kept me wanting to read more until I was finished. I am truly looking forward to reading the next book. This story is about how opposites, who have been taught to destroy their enemies, can overcome learned responsibilities and embrace their true selves. Love has once again conquered what was once known as impossible. Even as sixteen year old ...more

First time reading this author, and very glad I stumbled upon it. Very well written, loved the storyline it was so different then anything I had read before.

Gracen is a bit of a freak, she looks different then everyone else and doesn't care what they think of her. She has a purpose and that's all that matters. She fights demons and protects humans. When she stumbles upon someone that doesn't fit the mold of bad guy, she has to readjust her thinking and learn to work together to save everyone th

This book had some original plot and theme. I did make it all the way through it. Issues that bothered me were misused words, jargon or slang and the author's determination to try and write the story in present tense.

It appears to be moot as the author has unpublished the book. Due to this fact this is the only place I will be posting this review.

A good YA fantasy tale that seems to be in vogue in today's world. It has a strong female lead and deals with some of the issues that surround 'difference', in this case what would be deemed the 'paranormal' of sorts. It's reasonably written and flows quite well.

I don't give spoilers, but would say that this is a story worth reading.
