Not especially groundbreaking (or even realistic), on the whole this is a solid, enjoyable vintage regency. I particularly liked Annie, the h. She may not be a great beauty, but she’s competent and kind. Her ‘unreasonable’ attachment to her green dress was rather endearing, and I loved the sweet way it was tied to her final coming together with the H.
