It was super-lite on characterization, but I enjoyed the overall plot and individual story beats. The initial pace is slow, but picks up. In the weeds a bit in dealing with the aftermath of the Visitors departure, but I enjoyed that aspect. Still contradicts the first episode of the ongoing series, but if you ignore that it fills in quite a bit about what happened between THE FINAL BATTLE and the weekly series that took place a year later. Recommended for V fans!
I'm not sure why it was necessary to mention dozens of resistance characters that the fans were unfamiliar with and didn't play an integral part to the story. Compared to the other three tie-in books set in L.A., this one came across as amateurishly written. It's fine to add as part of a collection, but not such a great read.
Another week of traveling, another round of V books. Pursuit of Diana follows on from the end of the second miniseries, but seems like a bridge between that and the series. Chicago Conversion and Florida Project take place with mostly new casts, but Florida Project is stronger because it uses guest stars from L.A. and doesn't have to spend time introducing them.
Starts where it left off..Diana escaped. In the book Elizabeth is still a child. Explains how Los Angeles copes with the new reality.(people in high positions of power are converted, what happens to the people who were put in suspended animation)
