"The Prostate Book" written by Paul Scardino, a renown prostate surgeon and chairman of the Department of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, is an overview of the prostate including normal functioning of the prostate and some of the most common prostate problems which are experienced by many men. These include BPH, (an enlarged prostate), Prostatitis,( inflammation of the prostate), and prostate cancer. The author provides excellent guidance and explanation of the various treatments to the aforementioned conditions. This book is an excellent guide and overview for all those who have prostate cancer and or less serious prostate conditions to those interested in a more academic interest in this subject. I would highly recommend this book.

This is a pretty good introduction to treatment options and information about prostate cancer, but it did seem to suffer from the Doctor's own strong opinions and it sometimes bogged down in details like exact percentages of various side effects.
