I had the good fortune to meet Lt.Col Eisel during a book signing event in Omaha. We had a wonderful conversation about the book. For those looking for a technical book on Beaufighters, this is not it. It is a book the chronicles the lives and operations of the USAAF Beaufighters in WWII. There are many combat reports, pictures, and passages that illustrate how the men lived and fought - and the lengths they went to to be an effective fighting force with hand-me-down airplanes.
