To be perfectly honest, I don't remember entering the first-reads giveaway for this. (Whoops.)

Recommended Reading! A facinating book for Muslims, Christians, conservatives, and just anyone interested in faith, politics or religions if you have an open mind and just want to learn about other cultures, especially those caught between two.

Jamal neither sugarcoats himself or the Muslim people, but rather explains a religion that is so entrenched in its people, it is almost impossible to present its flaws. The only way the true nature of Islam can be revealed is to breakdown the religion into its various components; who was Mohammad, how did the Qur'an come to be written and why Islam will never embrace people of other faiths. It is a must r ...more
