Nursing research has grown more complicated as the profession as become more advanced. Essentials of Nursing Research breaks down complex concepts into manageable chapters. The book is packed with informative tips, examples of the different research designs, summary points and a glossary of terms. I bought a used book so I was unable to access the online links. Some of the text is tough to read due to a mismatch between the font colors and the background colors. Yellow is a bad choice for the readability of graphics. I am keeping the book as a reference material for future research classes.

I liked this one better than my other nursing textbooks. Different publishing house. The presentation wasn't repetitive or condescending.
