Great resource to master the basics and a little bit of the advanced concepts in epidemiology and study design. A must read for those wanting to dive deeper in evidence based medicine. This is a required reading for many of the classes as part of PhDs, Master degrees, ... etc. Very well thought of by academics world wide.

I dunno why, but I really like epidemiology. I like using statistics to arrive at counter-intuitive explanations of things. It made me learn how to think more carefully and precisely. I should probably read this again sometime...

Very good basic epidemiology book. Its short, concise, and simplified. I think it will make a great reference book for when I have a couple questions on epi concepts. It explained things in very basic understandable terms without going overboard on stats or jargon.
