A great little children's horror book about a boy who finds a device that links him to a 'reaper'.
The boy becomes a reluctant 'watcher', a connection between the living and the dead.
He eventually strikes it lucky and rids himself of this burden.
This book has large print and is not very thick, so a child could easily get throgh it in one sitting.
The language is easy to understand and well-relatable for kids.

This tells the story of Greg who wakes up one day as normal only to find that his world is never going to be normal again after he picks up what he thinks is a lost mobile phone.

This science fiction story is aimed at younger, reluctant readers but, despite that and the shortness of the book, it has a believable protagonist and antagonist and a twist in the tale.

I would like to read more of this author's work.

A hi/lo book aimed at teens with a low reading age.

I quite liked the beginning and the end of this book but felt it spent a bit long building up the plot and the rest of the book was a little rushed.

Nice and simple concept that would be good for all ages as the subject matter, whilst dark, is not too scary.
