I read this story in an afternoon and really enjoyed it. It's a typical western including Apaches, murdering bad guys, a bigoted cavalry post-commander, crooked Indian agents, a beautiful Indian maiden, an ex-slave who has a way with animals and of course a kick-arse good guy. The edition I read cited Steve Hayes and David Whitehead as co-authors, yet another edition of the same book attributes Ben Bridges as the author.

I have really enjoyed this book. It has a lot of action and a little humor which is always nice. Look forward to reading more books by Steve Hayes and Ben Bridges.

Weird premise but very fast reading book about the combination of a westerner, a Zulu warrior and Geronimo.
