In order to do this, the three children time travel on an invention created by their Uncle Al called The Time-A-Tron. This invention brings them back to a time before the Earth was even created. Twin Text Non-fiction Entry #2

I chose to pair this book with the book "Earth" by L.L. Owens. I chose to do this because I think ti would be a good resource for my kids to have to learn more about the earth than they already knew, and it will help them see the differences and similarities between the real planet Earth, and the Earth that Andrew describes in his book.

Friends Judy and Andrew travel back and forth in time with the Time-A-Tron machine, looking for people they know (who are stranded in time!), clues and souvenirs. This time, they land 4,500,000,000 years ago, before dinosaurs and most animals lived. Fun time-travel adventure series that appeals to 2nd and 3rd graders and teaches them science facts as they read. Short appendix with more information and online resources.
