This book is for dog lovers. The big, glossy photographs and touching anecdotes about the various pups is sure to tug at your heart. It reminds me of a less glamorous version of the book Born to Run: Athletes of the Iditarod by Albert Lewis. And these dogs are not famous or even noteworthy besides being truly loved by their owners/companions.
