Very handy - but quite honestly, the translator app on my iPhone saw a lot more use. This book is great if you are trying to 'learn' basic French words and phrases prior to a trip. I wish I had the luxury of the time to sit around and read it. I did not carry it with us on the trip - it was in the hotel room and I used my phone 99% of the time. The phrasebook is very well laid-out and quite easy to find what you are looking for. Logical and well thought out. I would definitely recommend it - especially if you don't want to pay for an app for your phone.
