NEW RELEASE!! The Skinny On Jack book #2 in the humorous Jack B Smart cozy mystery series.
https://amzn.to/2Kg7S0q
Jacqueline Bouviér Smart, aka Jack B to friends and family, is an aspiring mystery writer and part time amateur sleuth who has once again sworn off men and murder.

Inheriting shares in a weight loss company over the holidays should be a good thing, not something that leads to bombs going off and your car getting blown up. Right? Jack B doesn’t think so. Nor does she trust on again, off again beau, Seattle Police Detective Stone Maddox to catch the culprits.

When she starts to investigate, she discovers more might be disappearing at the weight loss clinic than pounds. The owner has been missing for a few months. Before she can figure out what’s going on, her counselor dies. Then Stone gets involved, and his brother Duke, and three gun-totin’ grannies, and even her deceased ex-husband. Before Jack B knows what hit her, she’s up to her favorite hoop earrings in men and murder. Again.

The Wedding Necklace" is my first exposure to Author Adrianne Lee and it won't be my last. This talented author made a lasting impression on me. Her fictional novel offers a touch of romance, murder, suspense, and mystery. Her style reminds me of an adult version of one of my childhood favorites...the Nancy Drew Mysteries. I very much enjoy this genre and Ms. Lee did not disappoint me.

The main characters, Alyssa Carlyle, a successful jewelry designer, and Craig Rival, the owner of the magnificent and coveted diamond necklace set the tone for this well-written novel. The Purity, is a one of a kind necklace, designed with the most beautiful blue diamonds. Many years earlier, in the possession of its original owner, the necklace is unfortunately and regrettably lost in a poker game. Alyssa's dying grandmother, affectionally known as Grandy, has every desire to see this cherished necklace returned to her family, the DeHavilands, where she feels it rightfully belongs. It was originally intended as a wedding present. According to Grandy's way of thinking, ever since it fell into the wrong hands, no wedding in her family has stood the test of time including her much loved granddaughter's. Craig Rival is not about to sell The Purity for sentimental reasons of his own.

The plot and intrigue that develop around this valuable "wedding necklace" is bound to entice any reader who enjoys a mystery romance. Author Adrianne Lee, shows not only great talent but also good taste, in this refreshing and capitivating novel.

It was a pretty good book. The mystery in it was really good. In most mystery books, about half way through the novel I know who the bad guy/girl is. With this book I couldn't tell who the villian was until the end when it told you. I thought it was one person, but then the book pointed your suspicions toward someone else and it went like that through the whole book. I'm so happy Craig and Lyssa finally got together in the end. I would have never suspected Teri really. So if you like a good mystery then you should read this book.
