Reprints the old BPP Newspapers. Beautiful Layout and Art. Fascinating to read what was written at the time.

An incredible collection of prints from the Black Panther Party Intercommunal News Service that existed from 1967-1980. I was astounded to learn that the INS put out newspapers equalling to over 12,000 pages!! So 12,000 pages of Black Panther Party ideology. Incredible.

This was a pretty interesting look at the Black Panther Party through the lens of its newspaper. What was true then, doesn't seem to have changed much today. As an independent journalist, I really appreciated looking through excerpts of the paper. One of my complaints with this book was that only a few pages of specific editions of the paper were published. I'd be reading a pretty interesting article written by someone in the party, turn the page, and--boom--a new
