Excellent, quick read. The Christmas Carol from the perspective of Marley. Inspires a re-commitment to being a better human being, and a great time of year to read it is December!
I read Jacob T Marley. (Already know the Christmas Carol story.) I like the idea of knowing WHO Marley was and a little about how he developed into his character. Lots of life lessons in the book.
The last couple of chapters of the book were really happy. 3/4 of this book is very depressing. In fact, David didn't want me to keep reading it out loud to him. ...more
