Wow. Read this book. Shine a light on the historical blackout. What a great pick I made on Memorial Day 2021, while WW2 movie propaganda was blasting across televisions, to read this book. A very sad story, but a necessary one to be told.
They say that there are two sides to every story, and that has never been more evident than the case of the Second World War. This is a book that is excellent at shedding some light on the other side, the side we were never told in school and which to put it lightly, has been brushed well and truly under the carpet.
Bradberry strongly argues the case that regretfully Britain and France joined the wrong side in the War. He casts Germany as being a last bastion against the evils of the Jewish Bolshevik run Communist Russia and without her forming a strong bulwark, the red terror would swarm throughout Europe, in a fatal strike against Western civilization. The book does not solely deal with World War 2 but goes right back to before the Bolshevik revolution and carefully illustrates that this murderous event was Jewish-run entirely out of proportion to their numbers in the Russian population. Chronologically he gives accounts of WW1, Weimar Germany and WW2, with the focus very much on this seldom-heard other side of events from the German perspective. Almost every claim is backed up with hard evidence. A minor criticism would be that Bradberry's style of writing is not the most fluid and can on occasion seem a little repetitive, but it is the content of the text itself and not the style in which it is written which is important here.
Highly recommended to a student of history who senses that much is missing from the tale they have long been told. Prepare to have your eyes opened.
I was already familiar with the thesis of this book, yet I was still pleasantly surprised by how much I learned.
Rather than focusing on German concentration camps, Bradberry provides a thorough survey of the causes and effects of the Franco-Prussian War, WWI, and WII. This is important because each war led to the next.
I had never really studied the penalties and restrictions imposed by the Versailles Treaty after WWI and how that affected Germany. That puts WWII in a completely different context. I also had not studied the Red Terror that took place in Russia or how that affected the German psyche.
One thing I was aware of: the firebombing of Dresden at the end of the war. This is the subject of Kurt Vonnegut's novel Slaughterhouse Five. Vonnegut was one of the Allied soldiers who for weeks helped dispose of corpses in Dresden.
Bradberry covers the firebombing of Dresden in detail, providing the context needed to understand this event for what it was: an intentional slaughter of Germans for no reason other than they were German.
This book relentlessly peels back the varnish on modern mainstream WWII history by using numerous sources, including newspapers published during the time of the events being written about. He also quotes many of the primary actors in WWII, using text from their speeches and diaries.
In spite of a handful of minor typos sprinkled throughout, this is a very well-constructed book from start to finish. The case Bradberry makes is airtight.
Any serious student of history should read this book. Although I must warn you that some of the firsthand descriptions of what was done to victims is graphic and disturbing. I have a pretty high tolerance for that sort of thing, and yet after reading the descriptions in Chapter 22, I was in a bit of a funk for a few hours.
The author makes quite a remarkable point: the historic tale of the warmongering and anti-Semitic Germany that we came to accept in our upbringing is not valid. We have been told a big lie, inspired by Germany's enemies. Especially the part about the Holocaust may provoke the most intense dispute. Many will therefore discard this book almost at face value.
I didn't. Although the author makes some mistakes here and there, in general he is making a point that cannot be easily swept away. He is not the only one disputing the conventional narrative about the Holocaust, which is not the same as denying that anything violent against Jews and others ever happened. It is about refuting many details that don't seem to match up with each other. It's about revisionism, not mere denial as such, a straw man argument that is often used against revisionists to have a quick and easy point against them. The conventional narrative is not just about the prosecution of mainly Jews, but simultaneously about ignoring the fate of so many Germans, suffering severe maltreatment, enslavement and murder at the end of the war, as well as during the war while being bombed extensively.
Revisionists therefore point towards that underexposed part of history too, which acts as one of the pillars of their perspective. The official version of history is trying to distract from the suffering of the Germans by stressing the Holocaust myth. The loss of large parts of their country, the almost complete annihilation, the occupation and destruction by the Soviet Union, the bombing raids, the enslavement, the ethnic cleansing from Czechia and Poland and the brutal murders that took place then, it all may be covered up by presenting the Holocaust.
And of course, the soviets had an ax to grind. They were more than just mildly motivated to manufacture an abundance of tales to tell (whether true or not) feeding the Nuremberg Trials with anything that could incriminate the Germans. And the western Allies had not much choice than to comply. They had engaged with Stalin and his oppressive, murderous regime. They also waited for the still imprisoned GI's to be released by the same Stalin. Shortly after the war, the US and Great-Britain sent many Russians (even people that weren't really Russian, but were perceived as such) into the hands of Stalin, knowing they would end up dead, or at least sent into Siberian camps, which wasn't that much better than being killed immediately.
More than enough reasons for the western Allies to play along with the Holocaust claims. A common enemy and villain: Germany. That made things so much easier to straighten up the narrative.
Is the author just an anti-Semitic neo-nazi, or someone with genuine arguments against a myth that is simply too powerful and too well rooted in society to be challenged without retribution and ostracism?
It’s time to understand Jew. What happened in Germany, What’s happening in our world. Clock is ticking. Israel & US, UK have been harassing Iran. Me, Japanese. Economic sanction was a start. JPN didn’t Surprise attack, Pearl Harbor.
Not going to rate this due to social stigma and wanting to preserve friends, plus there are obviously some questionable statements written in this book. However, I will say that to picture every German during World War 2 as an outright Nazi is a bit silly. Don't forget these were people living under Fascism and doing their best to deal with an authoritarian regime, and that includes their military. Eisenhower was a great fighter and leader in his own right, but I question the soundness of his plan to cause a food shortage of the regular civilian population by blockade.
There are no words to overstate the importance of this factual history book and of the genocide and unspeakable atrocities committed against the German people, women, and children (as well as against the old Russian people beforehand). Rumors of what we've been relentlessly brainwashed to dismiss - the "chosen people"'s stated doctrine of media and opinion control and ruthless ruling over the rest of us Gentiles - are unequivocally exposed. I feel that every human being has a duty to know of this. It left me shattered.
Very interesting how the Germans have been beat up by the Zionist PR machine. Germany did not start WW 1 and was punished so severely that they ended up with Hitler to save them from economic ruin and a communist takeover by Communist i.g. Jewish Zionist.
A must read for all, because the lie lives on and is costing today’s society. The author did a commendable job with his research and proves his title is accurate.
Everyone should have this book,& take it all in in their own good time,as it would b a challenge to most people. Most def a must for anyone seeking the truth about the "Chosen ones" .
I love these types books. It was so nice to read something that challenges the others and gives another perspective. Benton L. Bradberry did what I feel was a great job and all the 5 Star Reviews show it. I won this great book on GoodReads and like I do with most my wins I will be paying it forward by giving my win either to a friend or library to enjoy.
It seems that there could be another side to the story of The world wars. This book gives the the others sides views. I can't determine weather it is all true but I can't determine what we hear every day in America is true either. Very interesting a lot of facts.
This book is an outstanding and rare piece of truth in a world where reality is almost completely blotted out by constant lies. Read it before the central banksters execute their complete takeover of the world monetary system (underway now) and cement their dictatorial rule over the globe.
This book is extremely interesting and presents a comprehensive perspective that many historians are reluctant to explore for fear of having their books banished from being published.
Benton L. Bradberry's book and Nicholas Kollerstrom's book are impossible to find in any bookstore. As one Amazon agent conveyed, "It's obvious someone very powerful does not want the books available." valuable historians such as David Irving found new facts and history about the second world war, facts and history inconsistent with what has been available. He is now persona non grata in the publishing world. What is wrong with historical truth?
There is a problem when this happens in the United States of America.
The reason why I docked a single star was that the book was filled with many typos and a few grammatical errors. "Throwne" being used in place of throne was one that stood out in particular to me. It may have been just the edition I was reading, but the author should have at least gotten someone to proofread his work for spelling and grammatical errors before he published it.
If you can ignore the typos, you'll learn something from this book.
Another great book highly praised by all my acquaintances. I finally went ahead and read it.I'm glad I did. Lies upon lies told about the Germans must be recognized and buried forever.
The arguments were well constructed. I applaud Mr. Bradberry for his bravery in speaking out on such a controversial topic. There were some spelling and formatting errors that can be overlooked because this book was independently published. One thing I would have wanted to know more about was Hitler's personal faith as a Catholic (because the majority of media presents him as an esotericist or atheist), and about the religious policies of the Third Reich (because, again, media presents it as widely atheist or dabbling in paganism).
Overall, even if you disagree with the precepts of the book, it is an important read because it offers the history of the World Wars from a new perspective and contains information that can't be found in many other places, backed up by hard evidence in the form of firsthand accounts, quotes, and photographs. I guarantee even the most well-read World War scholars will learn something through this book they did not know before.
Complicado, muito complicado avaliá-lo. Agradável. Fácil. Denso. Fartamente documentado. E objetivo.
A neo-Nazi told me I should read this book to change my world view. I put it off for almost 2 years and out of boredom decided I should pick it up. What a mistake! Not only is this book written at a middle school level (typos galore, awful grammar, etc.) it's a "history" book without any real sourcing and with a bunch of conclusions reached that basically amount to 2+2=10. If you are extremely gullible and already Anti-Semitic, this might be a good book for you because it won't challenge you in any way. If you're a history buff or scholar (which I am) it might be a decent read for comedic purposes, but then it'll make you sad when you realize there are at least a few dozen people who have read this and thought it was great.
