As the title "The Myth of German Villainy" indicates, this book is about the mischaracterization of Germany as history's ultimate "villain." The "official" story of Western Civilization in the twentieth century casts Germany as the disturber of the peace in Europe, and the cause of both World War I and World War II, though the facts don't bear that out. During both wars, f

History is written in 50 shades of black. The other side of everything. An alternative perspective.
They say that there are two sides to every story, and that has never been more evident than the case of the Second World War. This is a book that is excellent at shedding some light on the other side, the side we were never told in school and which to put it lightly, has been brushed well and truly under the carpet.
Bradberry strongly argues the case that regretfully Britain and France joined the wrong side in the War. He casts Germany as being a last bastion against the evils of the Jewish Bols ...more

Not going to rate this due to social stigma and wanting to preserve friends, plus there are obviously some questionable statements written in this book. However, I will say that to picture every German during World War 2 as an outright Nazi is a bit silly. Don't forget these were people living under Fascism and doing their best to deal with an authoritarian regime, and that includes their military. Eisenhower was a great fighter and leader in his own right, but I question the soundness of his pl

The author makes quite a remarkable point: the historic tale of the warmongering and anti-Semitic Germany that we came to accept in our upbringing is not valid. We have been told a big lie, inspired by Germany's enemies.
Especially the part about the Holocaust may provoke the most intense dispute. Many will therefore discard this book almost at face value.
I didn't. Although the author makes some mistakes here and there, in general he is making a point that cannot be easily swept away. He is not t ...more

I was already familiar with the thesis of this book, yet I was still pleasantly surprised by how much I learned.
Rather than focusing on German concentration camps, Bradberry provides a thorough survey of the causes and effects of the Franco-Prussian War, WWI, and WII. This is important because each war led to the next.
I had never really studied the penalties and restrictions imposed by the Versailles Treaty after WWI and how that affected Germany. That puts WWII in a completely different context ...more

The arguments were well constructed. I applaud Mr. Bradberry for his bravery in speaking out on such a controversial topic. There were some spelling and formatting errors that can be overlooked because this book was independently published. One thing I would have wanted to know more about was Hitler's personal faith as a Catholic (because the majority of media presents him as an esotericist or atheist), and about the religious policies of the Third Reich (because, again, media presents it as wid

It seems that there could be another side to the story of The world wars. This book gives the the others sides views. I can't determine weather it is all true but I can't determine what we hear every day in America is true either. Very interesting a lot of facts. ...more

Very informative book. Definitely a must read.
The reason why I docked a single star was that the book was filled with many typos and a few grammatical errors. "Throwne" being used in place of throne was one that stood out in particular to me. It may have been just the edition I was reading, but the author should have at least gotten someone to proofread his work for spelling and grammatical errors before he published it.
If you can ignore the typos, you'll learn something from this book. ...more

Excellent read. Provides the "other side of the story" that we never seem to hear.

Complicado, muito complicado avaliá-lo. Agradável. Fácil. Denso. Fartamente documentado. E objetivo.
É legal enxergar novos horizon ...more

There are no words to overstate the importance of this factual history book and of the genocide and unspeakable atrocities committed against the German people, women, and children (as well as against the old Russian people beforehand). Rumors of what we've been relentlessly brainwashed to dismiss - the "chosen people"'s stated doctrine of media and opinion control and ruthless ruling over the rest of us Gentiles - are unequivocally exposed. I feel that every human being has a duty to know of thi

I love these types books. It was so nice to read something that challenges the others and gives another perspective. Benton L. Bradberry did what I feel was a great job and all the 5 Star Reviews show it. I won this great book on GoodReads and like I do with most my wins I will be paying it forward by giving my win either to a friend or library to enjoy.
