This would be a great book to read to students at the start of a new school year, ecspecailly when they are starting kindergarten. I would reccomend this book for children in kindergarten to second grade.

Awesome first day of school reading! I think young readers would be able to relate to Arthur's anxiousness and then see that school isn't so bad after all.

This book would be great at the beginning of the year talking about making new friends.

I would read this to students at the beginning of the year since it talks about the first day of school. Franklin is a turtle that is nervous to start school, but falls in love with going to school.
