The grammatical parts are good but the history/culture is very difficult to follow. It is as if they just put some scattered sentences, disjointed, no continuity, too many missing data. I think they were just bullets of information. I really wanted more details and had to do some research on the computer to fill in the missing parts.

The publisher, Cengage, apparently is going out of business at the end of this year. I think there has to be a better book than this but their grammar book, "Manual de gramática", is excellent, both the English version (6th Ed) and the Spanish version (2nd ed.) I
