I don't have diabetes, but I was interested in what the authors's approach would be so that I might have another tool to recommend should the occasion arise.
There's some good info in here, obscured by a kitschy story and throwing out a lot of not-too-catchy concept acronyms. Obviously the story angle did nothing for me, though some might like the "Who Moved My Cheese?" approach. There were too many of those acronyms, though, and that's where they wanted to hook the six sigma seven habits lovers. I'm curious to see what a diabetic friend might think of the book. Still, if it gets some people motivated to address their health, then great.
