In these inspiring lectures David Bohm explores Albert Einstein's celebrated Theory of Relativity that transformed forever the way we think about time and space. Yet for Bohm the implications of the theory were far more revolutionary both in scope and impact even than this. Stepping back from dense theoretical and scientific detail in this eye-opening work, Bohm describes ...more

Very good book on special relativity, with sufficient mathematics to explain the theory and at the same time includes certain ideas of his own (presumably) as to how to make sense of the theory in comparison to the heavily rooted Newtonian Theory. Recommended to anyone interested in the mathematics as well as the logic behind the theory.

absolutely brilliant. from explaining easily what the relativity theory is, to an insight into the common methods and ways humans have become accustomed to perceiving time & space as absolute, which makes it difficult to accept the theory

great read for any physics, philosophy or common science enthusiast

Good book. A serious attempt to get under the skin of relativity theory and explain why it makes sense and why it's so hard for most of us to fit into our heads.
