It is a great book EVERY software developer, architect, designer or even QA engineer should read. It focuses on principles and guidance so it may feel like it misses some level of details.

In general, the book is, as described by Neal in the first chapter, a wide variety of experience reports, introductory essays and methodology descriptions for very different topics. It is unlikely that the whole book will be all news for any single reader but it is even more unlikely that there is nothing here that a reader will learn going through the book.
