From the moment Anne Violet read her first romance novel as a teenager she knew she wanted to be a writer. She grew up in a home where Star Trek was continuously on, so it's only natural that sci-fi, fantasy and the paranormal become her favorite genres, and her favorite writing influences today. Add a dash of romance and sensuality and you have the combination that shes addicted to. In her non-writing hours she loves traveling, taking dance classes, reading and watching movies. Don't be surprised to find her at a local sci-fi convention or medieval fair.

She loves hearing from her readers and can be found on Facebook at the following address. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Anne-Vi...

personally I liked the first half of this book better. It was wierd for me how things felt so rushed. then Christian, and Alexis. for a couple so much in love he was the only one who acted so. Alexis was pushing him away from the begining. I was thinking she should have had his back. then hello stupid people, let's have Christian, who has unknown powers spar with you. then let's get mad at him for not being able to control it.....Like I said Alexis should have had her man's back, over people she hardly knew. just sayin. The book got better when Nicholas came back and shook things up a bit. he's not so bad after all. despite the annoying way everyone treated Christian it was a decent enough read. had some good action in it. the ending was satisfying.

This is an interesting story about magic, facing the ghosts of the past, saving love, and fighting darkness within and without.

Where Enchant Me is told from Alexis’ point of view, this book is told from three different points of view. Christian is more the protagonist in Enthrall Me. Author Anne Violet also includes Nicolas’ point of view for part of the story, enabling me the opportunity to see the growth of his character. Very little of this story encompasses Alexis’ point of view. I think there is missed opportunity there.

As in Enchant Me, the many punctuation and sentence structure problems in this book make it a difficult read for me. I do wish that Violet would submit the books for further proofing.

Otherwise, I like the story, and I like the characters. Violet shows some imagination here. It is a good young adult book. 3 stars

This book kind of leaves you hanging. I was all for the different points of view, but in some ways, I feel like it was a bad way to end it. The author puts you into the head of the one person that you have known as the enemy from the previous book, but you find out hes not all that bad. So you, as the reader, slowly become trusting of this Nicholas, and feel for his side of the story. Then, just when he grows on you, you pop out of his head and are left with millions of questions about him and the future he will endure. The story just ends with Alexis' and Christian's happy ending. I mean, I'm all for their happiness, but what happens to Nicholas?! Does he develop a relationship with Tempest? Does he heal? I need to know these things! Please let there be some kind of conclusion for him.

This one was not quite as good as the first one but the ending was good and there were a few surprises. I think somethmes I just have a problem with a couple that is almost all powerful so you from the start that whatever happens one can save the other. But the book was good enough that I read it instead of just putting it away because it wasn't for me.

After reading Enchant Me, this book appears rushed and not as deep. The story was there but it seemed to be glossed over instead of being built on. Still enjoyable but I was left wanting more. I don't know if there is to be another book but I almost want one just to get that depth back. Still worth a read but don't expect it to be as good as Enchant Me.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a short read and I do wish it was longer. There was lots of action and I really enjoyed learning more about Tristin. I recommend this book.

I enjoyed this book, but it was too short. I enjoyed seeing the alternate personality of Nicholas and Christian's strength...the ending leaves it open for a spinoff series

This one moved at too fast a pace and it felt incomplete or rushed and unsatisfying.

Too much weird magic suddenly comes about in this second book that it is so far from the storyline of the first book. I couldn't get into it. Maybe i'll pick it back up down the line.

Nice

Alexis and Christian's story continues... Ms. Anne nailed it again! I loved it! I was not disappointed on the books of the series I've read so far (books 1 and 2)!
