This book kind of leaves you hanging. I was all for the different points of view, but in some ways, I feel like it was a bad way to end it. The author puts you into the head of the one person that you have known as the enemy from the previous book, but you find out hes not all that bad. So you, as the reader, slowly become trusting of this Nicholas, and feel for his side of the story. Then, just when he grows on you, you pop out of his head and are left with millions of questions about him and the future he will endure. The story just ends with Alexis' and Christian's happy ending. I mean, I'm all for their happiness, but what happens to Nicholas?! Does he develop a relationship with Tempest? Does he heal? I need to know these things! Please let there be some kind of conclusion for him.
