I was a little torn here. I like the plot. I really like the plot but... It's lacking any development. It read as if it is a detailed outline for a story. A lot of telling [great ideas] but no showing [Luc felt bad...].

It had structural problems and needed editing. These helped create the impression we were reading an outline.

the last sex seen was so freaking hot!!!
"Bran wrapped a possessive arm around Luc. When Nikko snuggled to join them, Bran tensed up but didn’t growl. Baby steps, Luc had to remind himself. One tiny step at a time.
Eventually, maybe they could live together as a family.
A freakish, dysfunctional family, but a family all the same."

Nothing new or exciting, really. The writing style remains the same and there were no surprises (for me, at least). The blurb pretty much explains the entire novella.

If you've read 1-3 of the series, this wraps it up nicely for the 3 MC's.....and you do need to have read 1-3 first.

Amber Kell has made a career out of daydreaming. It has been a lifelong habit she practices diligently as shown by her complete lack of focus on anything not related to her fantasy world building.

When she told her husband what she wanted to do with her life he told her to go have fun.

During those seconds she isn't writing she remembers she has children who humor her with games of 'what if' and let
