I do what I want. I only have one rule: hands off the neighbors.

The single ladies on the block have tried it. I mean, come on. I'm a rich, single dad with a big house and an even bigger... lawn.

But playing where you live is a recipe for trouble. Especially since I've got nothing to offer beyond one night/ and a hell of a lot of bitterness.

Then the girl-next-door gets

My Review:
I really enjoyed the prequel to the start of this series, Teasing Trent. I am now officially in love with the Alexander family and ready for all the rest of their stories. But this story was about Jackson, a widower who's been burned by love when his first wife died suddenly. And it's not that their relationship was so perfect, but that didn't change the emotional blow to him when she died leaving him to raise two young boys by himself. But what Jackson does have is a huge, rambling,

Short version - I loved this good and now I want the whole series!!
Ridley and Raine are twin sister that grew up with a single mom (never knew their dad) and moved around a lot as kids. Raine decided that she was going to pursue a modeling career and made a huge name for herself and Ridley decided she was going to focus on school. After their mom dies, Ridley decides to hire a private investigator to find their dad when things blow up.

3.5 stars. I'm not gonna lie I did not like Chapter 1 of this book. Generally I don't like third person narrative and I really didn't like it in this book's first chapter. I was confused as hell on who was who. But once my confusion was cleared up I really got into it. I like alternating views, it gives me more info and I like that. There wasn't enough detail about Ridley so honestly I have no idea what her or Raina look
I read Tank before I read the Alexander Series so I thought that I would back track. The series doesn't have to necessarily be read but as the characters turn up in the blue collar millionaire series I wanted to read them. Boy am I glad that I did. 4 One more Days.

Ridley is in trouble and the only person she can think of to help her and to lay low is her twin sister Raina unfortunately Raina is out of country due to her modeling. Ridley hired a PI to look for her father but she has gotten into

The first book in The Alexanders series, One More Day, is a great mix of romance and suspense with a dash of down home southern hospitality thrown in. Actually after reading this I wanted to be adopted by the Alexanders and go out and live with them on their farm. The warmth and sincere generosity of a family who cares enveloped both the heroine Ridley and the reader.

I have to say that I knew once I began reading One More Day that I had made the right decision to get the rest of the series as

4.5 Oh Ridley and Jackson! I just love the Alexander family. Love how tight knit they are. This starts off with Ridley on the run and goes to her twin sister house to hide out. But when she gets there she is locked out and due to , to much travel and little sleep and food she faints and is found by Jackson's children. Jackson who is Ridleys sisters neighbor and hottie bachelor comes to her aid and offers her a place to stay until they get a locksmith to let her in. Funny thing is that Jackson ...more

I had high hopes for this book, the first in a series, from the summary. I haven’t read many, if any, rockstar books so I went into this one with certain expectations. Sadly, they weren’t quite fulfilled. Not completely anyway.

I have to admit, most of my problems stemmed from the characters of Ridley and Jackson. Let’s start with our hero…

From the get go it’s obvious that he’s a doting dad to his two young sons and a serious songwriter/producer. When we read his POV, it’s very clear he’s not

I read a lot of books, and this book was a treasure to find, and read. It will go onto my list of favorite's. Jackson, and his brother's grew up with parents that really loved one another. Julia and her husband was able to give her sons a glimpse at what true love looked like each and every day.
The plot had suspense, action, flirting, and love. It also had strong family bonds that you could feel within the pages of this book. It also had two cute little boys that loved spiders. They thought it

Enjoyable and entertaining. I really liked it. (audible whispersync review)

I really did enjoy this story a lot. It was a fun read/listen. I liked the heroine, Ridley a lot. She was sweet and just perfect for our hero Jackson.

The chemistry between them was very good. It was real and genuine, not forced and they didn't jump in to bed the minute they met each other. YAY for that. They got to know each other and the attraction grew. There is a couple of sex scenes in this book but it is NOT

I've read and enjoyed one other book in this series. So I was keen to read more. This time it's Ridley Wells and Jackson Alexander.

Ridley's friend has been murdered and then her home was vandalised, so she heads to where she will feel safer. At her twin Raina's home. She's a supermodel but she's out of town. So when Ridley gets mistaken for her sister. She realises where better to hide but right under everybody's noses.

The suspense part of this story was very cleverly done and worked

Sweet and romantic...

If you're looking for a romantic and easy read, this one's is for you. I loved and enjoyed it so much I'm really surprised I didn't discover this series until now.

The chemistry between Jackson and Ridley is so hot especially in the bedroom :) The twist and turns and the little suspense added to the story makes it even more interesting. I so love love to belong to the Alexander family, they are the kind of people anyone wants to have as family and friends. And oh, the

I fell in love with Ridley. A woman with a past full of let downs grew into a woman with a kin, tender heart. Her ease with people seems out of character for someone raised like she was. She finds her way into Jackson's heart despite the fact that he closed it long ago. I enjoyed the mystery that unfolds and sat at the edge if my seat to see if they could work through it all. I can't wait to read Raina's story.

An awesome story by a new-to-me author. I will definitely be reading the rest of this series. One More Day is the perfect name for this emotionally intense, suspenseful and sometimes funny story. I love it when an author has me laughing, crying and spitting mad all in the same book. It's rare and I swear at times M. Malone had me doing all three in one chapter.

My Thoughts: I was skeptical about reading this book. Typically, I follow book recommendations from my friends. This however showed up on a "recommendation" list from my Nook, and it was only 99 cents, so how could I go wrong. Worst case scenario, it was horrible and I wasted 99 cents. Much better than a horrible read that cost $10.

I was intrigued when I read the synopsis. Last year, a new TV show aired on the CW that I really enjoyed called

I don't know where to start but all I can say is that it definitely made my day. I can't get enough of this book. I've actually read it twice.

I've enjoyed the story. It's a great start to introduce the whole Alexander clan.

Ridley is the identical twin of the gorgeous, leggy blonde model Raina Winters. Other than their physical appearances the two of them are nothing alike. Ridley's gorgeous inside and out. She's down to earth, strives to find the best in every one she meets, and full of life.

3.5 - 4 Stars!!

Ridley is on the run, after her private investigator is killed right in front of her she flees going to the only place she knows; her twin sister Raina's house. Unfortunately for her, her sister isn't home and a little to much traveling plus vendor machine food, Ridley finds herself face first in a pond with two little boys watching. Jackson Alexander takes Ridley into his house assuming she's her sister and Ridley doesn't correct him. With the threat of someone potential after
I just can't believe that I wasted my time reading this book.

All of the characters have great potential.Don't get me wrong, I loved them until a certain point in the story.

The reason why I didn't like this book is because some of the contents on it were highly unecessary. The book had 37 chapters. On those 37 chapters, only 20 would have been enough to give the information needed to have a great book! This time, the lenght bothered me A LOT. I had the feeling that some of the things in this

I read book two in this series first . . . that may or may not have been good, but I really enjoyed reading the story of the "other" twin in this sister act -- Ridley who was opposite her twin sister celebrity model in so many ways. It's a tale of subterfuge and mistaken identity--easily done with identical twins and a "prank" of sorts that all twins seem to be tempted to do at one time or another. Yet for Ridley this is a life or death matter and one that could bring the mob down on her and end ...more
Jackson and Ridley steams up the first book of the Alexanders.

How is it that you just meet the guy and instant attraction and already they both getting it on. Seems like fast work for me.

Yet for me the story was pretty interesting with the mystery suspense that happens around Ridley and the sexy Jackson. Also having in the mix are Jackson's brothers which just ups the ante for the Alexanders. Not only that we have his friends as well. I just like how the book turned out. It wasn't too draggy and

I completely fell in love with Ridley and Jackson. Once I started reading, I was hooked and could not put it down.

Jackson is a widow raising two boys when his neighbor's twin sister, Ridley, literally stumbles into their lives. There is a strong attraction between these two from the first eye contact. Ridley tries to tell Jackson that she isn't her twin, but Jackson's brother interferes and everything gets messed up.
Loved the romance, the suspense, and especially the

*Book review for Sugar & Spice book reviews*

Ok, I enjoyed this book.... It was written from a third persons POV so was a tad confusing initially but once I Sussed it all out it was all good. I wouldn't say I was addicted to this book, I didn't have the feeling where I had to read it at any spare opportunity. I thought this book lacked a good description of Ridley, Raina & the Alexandar family, I can honestly say that I couldn't picture wot any of them look like & for me I like to
This is a great start to a great series. Ridley was such a normal girl, that the reader can easily relate to her. Jackson Alexander was so Sexy! I loved his two boys Chris and Jase; they were too cute. I'm so glad to know that he has equally Hot brothers Benneet, Elliot, and Nick.
I know that Nick & Raina's story is up next. But, I really looking to Eli's story. He seems like the strong and silent type. *sighs* ;-)
