Shocking Ending!

I have to give this book five stars not only for the ending which is surprising but because of the plot twist and the characters. And the original poems were beautiful. It makes you think are you really out of a relationship or can you only realize when your not there?

WOW

This was a really good book! I felt in my heart the book was gonna end the way that it did. Sadly there are so many "Kimani Richards" stories, every book I've read by La'Tonya West have all been great and I hope the right people read this book and it opens up their eyes. 5 Star Book!!!

This is a story of a woman who does everything in her power to keep her son from becoming like her abusive husband. Although she able to free herself and her son she still ends up losing in the end.
