It hadn’t taken Jessie long to figure out that Gabe was the one for her. After all, she'd practically begged him to marry her. Now that they were married, though, Gabe had started laying down rules and asking Jessie to start making some tough choices. What's a girl to do when she has to choose between her credit cards and a spanking?

But really, Jessie soon wonders, who lives like that nowadays? She loves Gabe, but is it worth it? When Gabe asks Jessie to stick with it for a year and see if it doesn’t make their marriage stronger, she knows that she has to make some hard decisions. What will she choose, and what will her choices cost her?

I have always loved to write, and daydream - it just comes naturally to me. I love to read so I devour books. Sadly, I had a hard time finding the best books, the ones that had sexy, dominant men in them. The ones where the men weren't afraid to spank a girl if she deserved a few well-earned swats. The books that had those scenes were very few and far between.

So, what is a girl to do? I had to add the often needed spankings to the stories... In my daydreams after I finished the books...

I love to write. So, I spent a lot of time writing books that I had to edit spankings out of (in my mind) because they weren't politically correct..

As you can imagine, when I found Blushing Books, I felt I had found a goldmine. Yeah, spankings! And I found a place to send my spanking books!

My books are romantic, and they are fun and naughty, but you won't find any full sex scenes (Just enough teasers). However, there are plenty of spankings all the way through and tons of action to keep you turning the pages.

Choices by Patty Devlin is an enjoyable story about a couple in the early stages of a domestic discipline marriage. Jessie loves her husband, Gabe, very much, but she has a hard time following many of his rules, particularly those related to her safety. She's a little bratty, but not over the top, and this book isn't just about a wife charging too much on her credit cards and getting spanked for it. Choices runs much deeper than that and I was pleased by how realistic the story felt. I also thought Gabe was a great hero, loving but stern with no tolerance for a wife who puts her safety at risk. I look forward to Choices 2 and 3!

Patty Devlin has given us a very realistic look at the emotional struggle of a new wife submitting to a domestic discipline marriage. The hero, Gabe, is an ideal head of household - loving but firm. He metes out punishment with logic, thought and love. Jessie struggles with being told what to do and rebels against his authority, but comes to grip with the relationship by the end. This book has just the right balance of love, tenderness and dominance - a very enjoyable read. I look forward to reading Part 2 and 3!

This is a very good book about a couple in a DD relationship and the wife not really sure if that is what she really wants. It would have been better if they had discussed the rules and the consequences of breaking said rules before they got married. That way it wouldn't have come as such a shock to Jessica. But other than that Gabe was a very good dominate husband who loved his wife and wanted to make their work unlike all their friends marriages. Jessica was definitly willful and hard headed and deserved every spanking she got. This was a really good story over all.

Really?

Are there really women out there who can't remember what they need to? This book seemed like it just wanted more excuses to spank. Not impressed.
