I'm not even sure what to say about this. I thought it was lovely and difficult, mostly beautiful, but it definitely has a certain edginess to it. Modern and informal, almost like having a conversation with a friend, but someone with an entirely different perspective than myself. The author is immensely talented.
At first I really liked the poetry, but the prose really stuck with me, and I found myself gravitating towards those sections. I particularly enjoyed the pieces on social justice, such
