A Sebastien and Bones short story!! Yay! I loved them in The Grave Watchers and would really recommend you read that book before you read this short. Reading this one as a standalone you'd be missing the fantastic story that sets up both the characters and the world-building.

Cute, short addition to the series. It was nice seeing Sebastien and Bones together, especially since I know that the POV shifts to a woman in the next book, and that there will be MMF which irritates me, and isn't my cup of tea. Their interaction made me smile, and I enjoyed the outcome of this story very much. Something nice before the the let down.

Again great idea and great characters but the end result was a bunch of nonsense. Though to be fair it wasn't boring.

Cute and funny.

(Zombie mice...hopefully she will write that story rather than just refer to it in passing.)

Huh. I'm setting this to today, but I read this soon after it came out and can't remember the dates. Perhaps my disappointment in the story blocked it all out?
