Seventeen-yr-old Charlotte Covington and her mother have left jolly ol’ England for the United States of ‘Murica. On the Titanic. Ok, we all know where this story is heading, right? But this has a bit of a twist in the form of Dr. Henry Beckwith. The good Doctor is more than just a doctor and researcher. And on the fateful night, Charlotte is about to find out what, exactly, he is.

This story starts out 4 days prior to the Titanic’s date with an iceberg and is

I can't tell you exactly what it was about this book that kept my interest, but it ended all to quickly! When I got to the 'to be continued...' I was really hoping for the next part to be available already. Sadly no, there is another book in the series out, but it's all new characters.

The story was good, though it never hinted at vampires until the very end and then you are just left hanging. All in all it was an enjoyable couple of hours spent reading. :) I would gladly read the continuation of

The novella wasn't really that bad, the characters, Charlotte and Henry are likable enough. My problem with the story was maybe that I thought it would be a stand alone novella (many are) and the ending. There are so many Titanic stories out there, but don’t pass this one by! Ms. King takes an intriguing, and very different approach!

Well written historical read oh and there's a vamp

Once I got into the period/time, I couldn't put it down. Good book for someone into historical fiction and "above"/not into vampires.

I think this makes it a good historical & paranormal book. It captured the moments before the Titanic sank and it shows the exact dates to which the story took place

I am not a vampire fan. That said this is a great short story, without a fang in sight King leads you on a merry chase and the most outrageous outcome you cannot imagine. A fun read.
